Glad to see ordinary people in Coleraine, Northern Ireland stepping up this morning near a primary school. Locals rightly detained a man of Middle Eastern appearance who was acting suspiciously outside the school and held him at the bus stop until the PSNI arrived. A 20 year old was arrested. As someone who values our community’s safety, I’m relieved no children were put at risk. Well done to the residents who took action and to the police for their swift response.
