To any athletes of any sport, if you are not doing a sport during a season, and you have a competent, experienced, passionate track coach at your school, do track and prioritize your speed and athletic development. Doing otherwise means you are falling behind. @Action_Speed_Tr

@steven_montoya 100% agree unless it is a championship meet and teams are jockeying for the win.

I prefer that coaches make entries VISIBLE on MileSplit or Athletic.

Congrats! Bridge Track boys take the District title again! Girls placed 4th! Overall we brought home a combined total of 10 individual champion titles and 1 relay title. We are super proud of this team! Up next is Regionals!

@hansonsrun Training age is more important than grade!There are exceptions but it is always best to train with caution-especially runners with zero experience.Doesn't matter if they are talented and can stay with the experienced group, the "over" mileage will catch up and result in injuries.

Coaches This is a tough one. A talented in coming freshman with no background in the sport, should train with the same volume as every other beginner. Paces should be different but not mileage. Just because they can doesn’t mean they should. Development is always the goal.

@RGary2 For me, championship season is the hardest part of the season to coach! Too much and you cook em, not enough and they are flat. This does not diminish the totality of their season as a whole:)

Man this ones on me. 100%. Got too aggressive with training and cooked my 4-5-6-7… not my brightest coaching moment. I love this team and am grateful they trusted me… time to recalibrate.

Representing our girls team at the Class 6 XC State Championship was Liana Eberly who place 17th and Caroline Drunasky, 44th. These two girls worked hard to get to this level and we are extremely proud of them!

Well, they did it again! Bridge XC boys brought home the WIN! They defended their title and are now 2x Back to Back State Champions! CONGRATS Boys! Hayden Goodman, Deaven Roberts, Owen Renquist, Shareef Elfadil, Bradley Johnson, Cameron McDuffie and Henry McCarthy
