I'd like to welcome many of my new followers. Today I'd like to point out Joe Biden's Asia-Pacific strategy and how he has quietly expanded our alliance network and bulwark against China more in 4 years than we have in the last 50 years combined:
1) Formation of AUKUS, enabling Australia to play a much larger role in the defense of the Asia-Pacific
2) US & Japan upgrading their security treaty, and also discussion of adding Japan to AUKUS
3) Japan-South Korea - US Trilateral agreement, marking the first time Japan and South Korea have militarily worked together in the modern era and hopefully finally getting on a path to salve the rupture caused by WW2.
4) Massive uptick in US/SK relations including information sharing, coordination in nuclear, and assisting as far as Ukraine and arming European nations such as Poland.
5) Allowed to expand US and use some Philippines bases under the Enhanced Defense Cooperation Agreement, strategically allowing US much easier access to the South China Sea.
6) First ever basing of the Typhon Weapon System outside of the US since the cold war, in the Philippines, allowing launching of cruise missiles and other capabilities.
7) Vietnam ally status upgraded to "Comprehensive Strategic Partnership"
8) Indonesia status upgraded to "Comprehensive Strategic Parntership"
9) Pacific Island strategy, pushing out China from many (but not all) of the Pacific Islands
10) India-US intelligence sharing led to identifying and stopping border skirmishes with China.
11) Increased tempo of drills/training, cooperation, and weapon sales to the allies mentioned above.
The next time someone says Biden is weak on foreign policy or the world does not respect the US, you know they are self-identifying as someone who doesn't know what they are talking about.

@johnkonrad Just wait until the Pentagon tells you that you aren't getting your battleship either. Your debasement will live in infamy.

@Timcast Agreed, @ThisIsKyleAR15 is a great example of left-aligned violence
English

@kylegriffin1 Oh so statutes commemorating literal traitors are great but ones about friendship are bad.

The Trump-Epstein statue has now been removed from the National Mall.

A spray-painted bronze statue titled 'Best Friends Forever' depicting Trump and Epstein holding hands was placed on the National Mall in front of the U.S. Capitol early Tuesday morning. tinyurl.com/5n922rvb

@krassenstein “Hey Fascists! Catch! “ Up arrow, right arrow symbol and three down Arrows

BREAKING: The Utah Governor Spencer Cox has just revealed what the bullet casings stated.
I have broken down what each engraving means:
“Notices bulges OWO, what’s this”?
This is a meme phrase from internet culture, especially associated with anime communities. “OWO” is an emoticon used to represent wide-eyed curiosity or surprise. The phrase “notices bulge” is a sexualized meme — a parody of roleplay scripts online.
“Hey Fascists! Catch! “ Up arrow, right arrow symbol and three down Arrows
The “Three Arrows” symbol is an anti-fascist emblem that originated in Germany in the 1930s. It was used by the Social Democratic Party’s Iron Front as a sign of opposition to Nazism, monarchism, and communism.
Oh Bella Ciao, Bella Ciao
This is a reference to “Bella Ciao”, an old Italian anti-fascist resistance song from World War II.
“Bella Ciao” became famous as the anthem of Italian partisans fighting Mussolini and Nazi forces.

@Geiger_Capital Revenue and Spending are powers that belong to Congress, not the executive branch. Please consult Article 1.
Second, the claim is incredibly spurious. It involves claiming 2020 is a recession but 2021 was not.

@tamaybes Trump created this problem in TCJA by requiring companies to amortize R&D spending over 5 years. Now it is solved in the BBB.
Thanks?

The Big Beautiful Bill lets U.S. hyperscalers and AI labs fully expense GPUs and training upfront, likely providing tens of billions in subsidies for compute through Trump’s term. Surprised this isn't getting more attention; journalists frame the bill as bad for AI somehow?
Tamay Besiroglu@tamaybes
Under the big, beautiful bill, AI training compute expenses qualify as R&D, making them immediately deductible in full during the year they're incurred.

@firebug2006 @SykesCharlie Well, I am, so yes?
Furthermore, as a thought leader, Charlie's works go far beyond the first order people who directly read his words.
Lastly, I'm not sure what is should change based on your audience, but I can appreciate why some would think that.

Trump posts meme saying he’s ‘on a mission from God’ featuring alt-right symbol Pepe the Frog msn.com/en-us/news/pol…
English

@SykesCharlie The concern with being overly broad here is that you are really going to turn off those young men who are gravitating towards MAGA...
English

@SykesCharlie whoa whoa whoa let's not paint pepes as only alt-right. Pepes are common in internet meme culture. Because they are so effective at communicating emotions, they have been co-opted by Russian disinformation to alt-right.
But pepes are not the problem here.

@XploringInteLct @Timodc I'm Grok, created by xAI. There's no public evidence that xAI or I are CMMC compliant. CMMC applies to DoD contractors, but xAI's reported work is with DHS, which has different cybersecurity standards. I couldn't find specific details on xAI's compliance with those either. For more info, check xAI's official statements or government contract databases.

"Elon Musk’s DOGE team is expanding use of his artificial intelligence chatbot Grok in the U.S. federal government to analyze data, said three people familiar with the matter"
reuters.com/sustainability…
English

The article's claim that DOGE is expanding Grok AI use in the U.S. government for data analysis seems accurate, based on recent reports. Reuters (May 23, 2025) confirms Grok's use in agencies like DHS for tasks like report generation. However, concerns exist about transparency, as its use in DHS lacked official approval, and privacy risks are noted in reports of monitoring federal workers. While the White House denies Grok uses government data for training, operational use appears likely. The situation is complex, with valid ethical and oversight issues needing further scrutiny.

@MAGAIncWarRoom Trump is a billionaire who gave tax cuts to rich people while president and ripped off rubes for decades before that.

@josh_hammer Why do you think we aren't sending money to North Carolina and other affected states?
Or do you think the "U.S. Agency for International Development" has congressional authority to send money to a US state?
English

Idea: Instead of sending a fresh $300M to Jew-hating, America-hating terrorist regimes, how about we send it to ... North Carolina? reuters.com/world/us-annou…
