News Report: The United Arab Emirates is preparing to help the United States reopen the Strait of Hormuz militarily, making them the first Persian Gulf state to become an active combatant in the Middle East war. According to Arab officials, the UAE is lobbying for a United Nations Security Council resolution that would authorize such action, with Emirati diplomats also urging the US and the nations of Europe and Asia to form a coalition that would assist the process. A UAE official also stated the country had reviewed other capabilities to assist in securing the strait such as clearing mines and other support services. It is also reported that other Gulf states, including Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, are now turning against Iran's regime and want the war to continue until it is toppled. wsj.com/world/middle-e… The UAE's shift appears to be because it has faced more Iranian attacks than any other country in the region, including Israel. Another reason is speculated to be because the UAE relies much on the Strait of Hormuz itself to export oil and use as a trade hub. reuters.com/world/middle-e… The Gulf States are getting desparate and are caving to Trump, being his biggest frontrunners to take down Iran. This war is gonna last way longer than Americans and many others hope for. #UAE #UnitedArabEmirates #USA #Iran #IranWar #MiddleEast #MiddleEastWar #Hormuz

Not just conservative but the most underrated Korean president in general. Korean people worshipping Roh Moo-hyun just because he was a nice person meanwhile Lee Myung-bak getting hated all throughout his presidency and afterwards just shows you the threshold of the Korean populous.

Since the beginning of the 21st century, the only conservative Korean president who can be seriously defended on the grounds of governmental competence is Lee Myung-bak. He took office amid the global crisis of 2008,and SK responded with a mix of monetary support, financial stabilization, and fiscal stimulus. He deserves credit for taking decisive macroeconomic action and thereby averting an external liquidity crisis similar to the one SK experienced in 1997. LMB did not manage the crisis like an austerity ideologue. He was pro-business, but he accepted the need for a highly interventionist state when it came to stabilizing the currency, recapitalizing the system, supporting credit, and stimulating demand. That is why I see him more as a practitioner than a doctrinaire.

Man there are a lot of either idiots or ragebaiters in this reply thread lmao. Like yeah South Korea wasn't gonna trade with countries at war with the most powerful country on Earth unless that said country approves the trade. That's just basic clever diplomacy. How is that proof of anything?

Korean media reports that US has allowed Korean corporations to purchase oil from Russia and Iran using other currencies (rubles, yuans, etc.) and has stated that no sanctions will be applied for said purchase. Korean corporations are now reaching out to Russia to purchase oil and naphtha per additional reports.

News Report: Iran considers leaving the NPT, thus opening the opportunity for full nuclear armament. Iranian politicians are pushing to exit the country from the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) of nuclear weapons, as the US and Israel ramp up their attacks to hit civilian nuclear sites. Malek Shariati, a representative from Tehran, said that a priority piece of legislation has been uploaded in an online parliamentary portal and will be reviewed soon. According to Shariati, the legislation will withdraw Iran from the NPT, revoke a law that adopted nuclear restrictions linked with a now-defunct 2015 nuclear deal with world powers, and "support a new international treaty with aligned countries [including the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and BRICS] on developing peaceful nuclear technologies". If such a law is approved by the parliament, it would also have to be agreed by the Guardian Council, a powerful 12-member constitutional body, before being implemented by the government. aljazeera.com/amp/news/2026/… What consequences will occur if Iran does withdraw from the NPT? In the past, the IAEA Board of Governors has twice found Iran in non-compliance with its safeguards agreement signed in 1974. The first time was in 2005 because of Iran's extensive undeclared nuclear activities, including uranium enrichment. The second was on June 12th, 2025, because Iran failed to provide credible explanations for traces of nuclear material discovered in 2019 and 2020 at three previously undeclared locations. If Iran were to withdraw from the NPT, then the IAEA inspectors would lose the legal basis for sending inspectors to monitor Iran's nuclear facilities. And without the legal basis in a safeguards agreement there would be no UN enforcement mechanism. This means Iran gets to develop nuclear weapons with no restrictions. thebulletin.org/2025/06/what-i… The Middle East has officially hit its doomsday clock. #Iran #IranWar #MiddleEast #MiddleEastWar #USA #NPT #Nuclear

News Report: Iran and its proxies might target to close another essential strait for oil shipping, experts warn. According to Danny Citrinowicz, a former top Iran researcher for the IDF, there is a high likelihood that the Houthis, a Yemen-based rebel group funded by Iran, would get involved in the current war in the Middle East and block the Bab el-Mandeb Strait located in the southern end of the Red Sea, an essential passage for nearly 10% of oil and natural gas shipments in the world. In the past month, the strait has become an alternative route to get Middle Eastern oil to market as Iran's threats have effectively shut down Hormuz. And while the Houthis have agreed to a ceasefire, their leadership warns that "our hands are on the trigger when it comes to military escalation." politico.com/news/2026/03/2… There is also concerns that the Houthis closing the Bab el-Mandeb Strait could end up reigniting the Saudi-Yemen conflict that caused huge humanitarian suffering for seven years before a 2022 truce. Since the US-Israeli attack on Iran on February 28th, Saudi Arabia has been able to divert some of its oil exports by pipeline to the Red Sea. Saudi commentators have said that if this route was also threatened, Riyadh could also enter the war directly. theguardian.com/world/2026/mar… Looks like those gas prices aren't coming down anytime soon. #Houthis #Yemen #RedSea #Iran #IranWar #MiddleEast #MiddleEastWar #OilShock

News Report: Uganda offers to join Israel in the Middle East war against Iran. General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the Ugandan military chief, posted a series of messages on social media saying his country could enter the conflict to support Israel if hostilities are escalated. He framed his support based on historical ties, acknowledging Israel's past support for Uganda. In a post that was later deleted, Kainerugaba also claimed the Ugandan armed forces could have captured Tehran in 72 hours without any bombing. telegraph.co.uk/world-news/202… Kainerugaba's statement appears to stem from warming relations between Israel and Uganda. Last month, Kainerugaba announced that Uganda will soon build a statue of Yonatan Netanyahu, the brother of current Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and commander of the Israeli army unit that led Operation Entebbe in 1976. Prime Minister Netanyahu even attended a memorial ceremony held at Entebbe International Airport in 2016, marking the 40th anniversary of the operation. jpost.com/middle-east/ir… Diplomacy can be very interesting. #Uganda #Israel #USA #Iran #IranWar #MiddleEast #MiddleEastWar

News Report: Pentagon considers diverting US military aid meant for Ukraine to the Middle East in order to support the war in Iran. Although a final decision to redirect the equipment has not been made, the shift would highlight the global trade-offs required to sustain the US's war against Iran, where the US has hit more than 9,000 targets in just under 4 weeks of combat. The weapons that could be diverted away from Ukraine include air defense interceptor missiles, ordered through a NATO program in which partnered countries purchase US arms for Kyiv. washingtonpost.com/national-secur… This consideration by the Pentagon seems to be confirmation of the early rumor that the US has been running low on vital interceptor missiles and other munitions as they are stretched thin by the expanding war in the Middle East as well Russia's increased assault on Ukraine. aljazeera.com/amp/news/2026/… This is horrible news. This war is benefitting no one more than Vladimir Putin and the imperialists at the Kremlin. Absolutely disasterous result. #Ukraine #UkraineWar #MiddleEast #MiddleEastWar #Iran #IranWar #USA

1. There are ways to oppose Israel's atrocities in Palestine without whitewashing antisemitic terrorist groups. South Africa, for example, helped file a report for the ICC to send out arrest warrants for Israeli government officials and condemn their part in genocide. And they did that without calling for the death of Jews. 2. What the f**k are you talking about? Tibet is absolutely NOT better off under Chinese control. Tibet has one of the lowest rates of political freedom in the world, and Tibet is literally experiencing ethnocide in the form of a brutal colonial boarding school system. China is also using settler-colonialism strategies to turn Tibetans into a minority in their own land by mass migrating Han Chinese settlers in the area. That's literally what Israel is currently doing in the West Bank but on a much larger scale. If you condemn Israel for what they do in the West Bank than you can't justify what China is doing in Tibet. Hasan is just being morally inconsistent and so are you. 3. If you're referring to China as a civilization there is a whole list of atrocities they've committed against their neighboring countries that you probably just don't know of. If you're referring to the PRC, yeah you can make the case they've committed objectively less atrocities than the US has but that's not because of some moral superiority, that's just because the PRC has only been around since 1949 and only started to become a major superpower since the 21st Century. Since then they've been doing a genocide in Xinjiang, an ethnocide in Tibet, funded the Rohingya genocide in Myanmar, openly started colonizing the South China Sea and violating international waters, is currently funding North Korea which is considered the most oppressive regime on Earth, and is threatening to invade Taiwan. Oh, and you think China doesn't also trade and sell surveillance technology to Israel that's then used to run open air prisons in Palestine? Yeah, not so much "lesser evil", more "inexperienced evil". But they're catching up in rapid speed in a very short time. Hasan doesn't tell you this part because he's a CCP shill now. I recommend doing your own research. 4. You're right, it's not a competition. But that doesn't mean Hasan gets a free pass for promoting antisemites like BadEmpanada and Rathbone. Just because Israel forms hasbara (which is frequently called out and criticized) doesn't mean Hasan gets to spread antisemitism. Also, don't you think it's a red flag in the first place that you're using Israel as your moral standard here? And you call me a Zionist? It's ridiculous reasoning and you know it.

1. He has praised the Houthis and Hezbollah because they were the only form of resistance. Israel genocided most of Gaza and the West Bank. (Proof all over the fucking world.) 2. What’s happening in Tibet is repression, but he was comparing it to alternatives and it was better. With China, you can see what they want: they want everyone to be atheist or at least hold atheist values first, even if you are religious, and it has to be China first. They have race issues etc. they suppress too, like everywhere else. But compared to a criminal state like Israel, I have to say it is much better. 3. Again, Hasan has said so himself: he is not accepting or condoning everything China does, but it is much better than what America is doing. Israel, the US, and the GCC are responsible for genocides in Sudan and Gaza. They decimated the Middle East systematically and parts of North Africa. The criminal activities range far and wider and are not even comparable to China’s doings. I have to say this: at least China didn’t fuck all of its neighbours and any international country for that matter. They still have not taken Taiwan. And even then, it’s the lesser evil. 4. This is not a competition, and if it was, Israel and the US would come out on top as serial manipulating criminals. Antisemitism has been bolstered by Zionist rats like you and it grows rampant. Fuck Israel and I’ll fucking see the end of this shit, bitch.

Nick Fuentes is a lying grifter who openly promotes and supports totalitarian ideologies and their mass murdering psychopathic leaders while playing down and even dismissing their well documented genocidal mass crimes. Hasan Piker is the same but you shill for him.
Mehdi Hasan@mehdirhasan

Nick Fuentes is a Holocaust-denying Neo-Nazi who was outside the Capitol on Jan 6th and talks about bringing down the Jews and Jewry. Hasan Piker has said or done none of those things. You don’t have to like or agree with everything he says but to equate him to Fuentes is ridiculous and a form of Nazi minimization.

@nyuu_misfit @Dispropoganda Even fucking then he can't help himself and downplays the genocide and says it's exaggerated. And even if he was mildly critical back in the day he certainly is NOT anymore. Even the recent comments in the video you linked are saying this.

Bro he's collaborated and propped up openly antisemitic influencers like BadEmpanada and Rathbone. Even if he's not saying antisemitic shit himself he's certainly fanning the flames in his own right. But even aside from that even if he is "going against antisemitic people", that doesn't mean we're gonna let him off the hook spreading CCP propaganda.

@nyuu_misfit @Dispropoganda I don't support Hasbara but that doesn't mean Hasan gets a free pass spewing propaganda from the other side too. What's so complicated about this that you don't understand? Hasan actively promotes the CCP agenda. That's why he's being criticized. It has nothing to do with Israel.

It's a mix. The government and private companies are spending more money to financially support married couples and expanding benefits for newlyweds, especially mothers, so that's helping. But also the couples who weren't getting married and having children during the COVID-19 Pandemic are starting to do so now, so there's also just convenient timing.

He can choose what he talks about, that's true. But he's also one of the most viewed streamers on Twitch with (unfortunately) a huge influence. So when he repeats CCP propaganda the same way Nick Fuentes repeats white supremacist propaganda, you're damn right we'll call him out on it. (And make the comparison.)

@YoungSamRespect @Dispropoganda You guys like nitpicking the dumbest shit ever. He spends hours speaking daily. He doesn't have to talk about every single subject that you desire. He can talk about whatever he's passionate about. And I don't care if he was interviewed by a propagandist.

@nyuu_misfit @Dispropoganda That's a heavily flawed comparison. Legacy Media does interviews with a whole range of people. When was the last time Hasan interviewed, or even just talked to a Uyghur or Tibetan victim?
