@Batmanuso @chakravartiiin Yes, but does a supe feel pain like normal people do? Or did that just feel like a bad sunburn? He could have, but to me it always seemed like they didn't. Though I guess Kimiko was in pain from the radiation even though she never seemed to make a fuss about being cut in half

I think people are confusing soldier boy with Homelander
This was always how it was going to end for Homelander it's been hinted at since season one that he's just a petulant child with superpowers who has never heard a NO in his life.
Only people who are surprised by this or expected that he will show some dignity are those who have been projecting their supremacy fantasies on him and they are obviously hurt by his pathetic end.
