@_JimWhitfield a nice summary here. I’m now convinced it is healthy to suffer at least some Trump Derangement Syndrome or TDS. It’s a sign of political, intellectual and moral consistency. Trump violates Reagan’s 11th Commandment all the time, I’m not encouraged to tow his line.

Just as history has, for great reasons, been kind to Churchill and not so to Chamberlain, the history will be written on how we responded to the Russian invasion of Ukraine and our stewardship of NATO. Appeasement and moral blindness towards Russia will be ugly chapters.

@_JimWhitfield I couldn’t care less about SPLC, they were labeling parent groups as a threat vs real nutters. I think the hubris of signing the currency, the passport image and the Kennedy Center are all hubris. If it were Biden, Evangelicals would say his actions were “the sign of the beast”.
