I don’t know that we can stop Israel because I believe Israel believes this is their last and best chance to wipe out their #1 geopolitical enemy. I don’t think they think they’ll ever have this chance again. And they’re probably right.

When your nominations process touts a refusal to ask about policy and outcome preferences as a major feature, you are going to end up with unpredictable outcomes and policy preferences at the end of the process.

Democrats will not place someone on the bench at any level unless they are 100% positive that person will rule in favor of the preferred Democrat outcome every time.
Instead of demanding outcomes, Republicans ask for lip service and a head nod in favor of an abstract philosophy.
These two methods explain nearly all the difference in batting averages between the two sides.
