The whole Epstein & Trump debacle really highlights just how fundamentally broken the United States really is. I voted for Trump because he seemed like a massive change agent - a hammer. Turns out, him and his administration are the same-old cover for corrupt elite pieces of shit that the Democrats are. And this is the crux of the problem - you just have to be slightly better than horrible to get elected in this country. Biden was objectively one of the worst presidents in US history. Kamala as the replacement was somehow a bigger joke than Biden. So what does Trump do? Run cover for the entire thing. Even if there was truly no "foul play" - why hide the documents, ESPECIALLY when you ran so heavily on transparency and justice? This is literally the opposite. Trump and his administration have made fools out of their voters - myself included. A truly disgusting display of lack of morals & horrendous leadership. There should be no surprise that the last few decades the country has been on a worsening path - the two party system is DESIGNED to keep horrible people in power. You just have to be slightly better than awful, and when you're in power, you can set a new standard for awful. A complete and total joke.
