LONG POST 🚨🚨🚨 The Raines High School 4x400 Relay of Jordan Middleton, Alexander Higgins, Jonathan Downer-Barrett, and Owen Kaye went head to head with THE TOP 4x400 relay team in the country, Bullis, and the top 4x400 relay teams in Florida in another epic historic Florida Relays High School 4x400 FINALS BATTLE. Our time of 3:11.55 broke a 33 YEAR OLD RECORD, 3:12.78, set in 1993 by Sheldon Roberts, Lamar Horne, DaMar Horne and Jimmy Hackley. What an honor to be a part of this incredible history. We are currently ranked USA #5 and ranked #6 Florida All-time. That makes us ranked Duval County All Time #1. WOW‼️ What an amazing accomplishment for 3 seniors, who didn’t run track until high school, and a freshman. Progression and development. I’m so blessed to be a part of this historic moment. Since becoming the head coach at Raines my high school coach, Florida and National Hall of Fame track coach James Day would call me after every meet, until he passed, and ask me how did the 4x4 do. If you ever ran track for Coach Day you know he loved the 4x4. It’s a Raines track tradition. SO I’M SCREAMING WITH TEARS OF JOY‼️ COACH DAY‼️ I HOPE WE MADE YOU PROUD 🥲🥲❤️❤️‼️ One more goal though.
