@BowTied_Golfer Couldn’t agree more. Got pushed into t100s, have a 44 degree PW and next wedge is a 50 degree Can push the 44 degree PW 145-150 and the 50 degree only goes 120-125 need to make a change next season

When getting fitted for new clubs (ideally by someone you trust) Don’t let them change your degree “gapping” between clubs. I made that mistake and have paid the price the past few years. The guy (a friend) pushed the t100s on me (stronger lofts). I didn't think twice about it, as I wasn’t playing much golf at the time but needed new clubs. My PW is now 44 degrees and both the top and bottom of my bag is a mess. Anyway - this is advice for anyone in the market for new irons/wedges this winter

Does anyone know why the Old Course Hotel (built in 1968) is so close to the 17th hole? What made them decide to put up a giant building nearly in the middle of the 17th hole? Especially when there is so much land available and the building was not forced to be this close. It's certainly interesting and different, just curious if any historians know what the thinking was? That yellow line is 230 yards long and the end of it is only about 34 yards from where OB would be.
