@TubboTWO Absolutely think there's room so long as most current features on major platforms (emotes, dono method, subs, etc) launch with it. Higher rev split would encourage viewers to move so they can better support their streamer, but UX would need to feel equally comfortable on new site

Okay a got a bit of a hypothetical for streamer freinds & veiwers who have been in the live streaming space for a while: In 2026 the live streaming space is mainly dominated by Twitch, Youtube & Kick. Each platform has there own selling points and reasons against. I believe the live streaming space is so non competitive because of how much live stream CDNs (Content Delivery Networks) cost to opperate. That being said hypotheticly do you think there is room in the space for a new contender if the offerings are as follows: - 95/5 (or 100%) revenue split - Independantly opperated (meaning no parent; amazon, stake, etc.) - Baked in 3rd party tools (e.g. IRL Streaming, Emotes, Alerts, etc.) - Full financial transparency The reason I ask is becuase even with how attractive all of the above looks i'm not sure I would be able to convice myself to try a new streaming plateform in 2026 but I wanted to get a bit of a read on how smaller streamers think as i'm a little out the loop aha 🫡

Hello. I want to make a video ranking… everything. Feel free to drop anything you want ranked, and I mean ANYTHING. Seriously I plan on ranking hundreds of things on the same list. So please give me hundreds of things. Can be anything. Again. Cannot reiterate enough. Anything.

For the past month or so, I been trying to learn Game Maker, and trying to replicate UNDERTALE's feel and gameplay. So far this is what I got! Everything here was remade from the ground up. Even the assets. Not sure what to do with this, but it's fun!

@SilverMushroomz As someone studying a game degree I've used Unity/Unreal/Gamemaker/Godot before & GMS solos when it comes to 2D games. Imo 100% the best program to use if you want to make one. The coding language is extremely beginner-friendly & it's very easy to get a prototype working fast!

@SilverMushroomz A little more complex but in essence, yeah. I'm absolutely not a programmer, which is why I love GMS coding since the drag/drop & simplified base code makes it ridiculously easy to understand very fast. This video has a good demo of the drag/drop code: youtu.be/Vk3mk9vDe_0?si…

@Paddymelt6 Gamemaker code is relatively simple compared to Unity/Unreal & the great thing is it uses a drag/drop code system if written code isn't something you can get used it. If you havent used it much definitely give it a crack, theres tons of resources & communities willing to help :)

@DitchuArt @Its_Mr_Floyd Fuck you, I wish I could just crack it like that. All jokes aside that’s incredible and I’m happy for you, I’m just a little salty is all.

@quantizor @justalexoki This might be the best way I've seen it described - I'm the exact same. There's definitely no visualisation going on, it's like getting random word snippets that are purely descriptors of what the thing SHOULD look like without forming a picture. Like the difference between these

The way I can best describe my "visual" memory is there is a picture behind a thick black curtain and my conscious mind can transfer some information by shouting through the curtain but it's extremely lossy. I retain spatial and metainformation somewhat better. Decent audio recall. Interestingly I can see images sometimes when I'm dreaming, just not when I'm awake.

My 11 year old got lost and asked for help at a library. They told her she couldn't call her mom from the phone and should use a payphone. She said she didn't know how. They said they couldn't help and she ended up crying alone on the street corner @torontolibrary

If you are keen for this concept, the best way to support us is by downloading the demo on itch/sharing the demo around with your friends. The more hype we get for the idea the more likely we are to be able to secure funding so we can actually turn this into a polished game 🤟

Me & my uni group have been developing this exact idea for the past year! It's still pretty early stages since we had the smallest team in our cohort + other uni subjects to worry about, but if people enjoy we're definitely interested in developing it further 👊

@Melodic_Lemons3 Idk if this'll gain traction but I will say, atm you can shrink others/grow larger & it makes your voice higher/lower pitch + if you blow someone up their mic cuts out, it's very fun LMAO We had a disadvantage as a small team but if people enjoy we might try to take it further!!
