Uli Hoeneß: "Vincent Kompany was at Tegernsee [last summer], he drove out there with Christoph Freund, and said: 'Uli, we need Xavi Simons' - I had put an apple pie on the table for the meeting and replied: 'Vincent, you can have another piece of the apple pie, but you're not getting Xavi. We want you to play the young players' - And he did exactly that" [Podcast Auf eine weiß-blaue Tasse]

@GaryRWard They're absolutely right to challenge the club on this topic - even if their messaging could be seen OTT. Violence against women is wrong and people who brush it under the carpet are wrong to do so. RDZ & the Club should know we expect better

THST have replied to me today & confirmed another statement is due to address the context and rationale of the initial statement being released. Following complaints, concerns, and feedback from some members & fan groups, they felt it was important to challenge the club on this appointment to help a united fanbase. They will review all support & criticism internally too. #THFC #SPURS #COYS #TOTTENHAM

I'm a member of the THST & haven't received any notifications or asked for my opinion regarding Roberto's appointment or a statement being made. Is this normal? Surely you would speak to members first before releasing anything? #THFC #SPURS #COYS #TOTTENHAM

@DaveRay35 @ChangeForSpurs Idiot comment - right now the important thing is staying in the league and any supporter not throwing their full weight behind thst ain't a proper supporter of this club.

@ChangeForSpurs Change for Tottenham is now dead as an organisation. You may be right to not protest this weekend but you absolutely should not be using this platform to promote what is in effect an anti-protest.

A shocking rumour I've recently heard. Joe Lewis had only a 10-minute call with Daniel Levy to dismiss him immediately after running the club for over 20 Years. Some of the reasons are quite concerning, including financial mismanagement and misuse. If it's true the club is in trouble on and off the field. Or is this a tactical move by Joe Lewis to dilute Daniel Levy's shares by increasing capital and have full control and then sell?????? Who will win the battle, for sure not the Fans……..

Tottenham are now in serious danger and the direction of this club cannot continue without challenge. Both the Nottingham Forest and Brighton protests must be massive! Forest will include a post-match stadium protest inside the stadium. Now the whole fanbase must stand up.

Sometimes in life you need to defend yourself. I will NOT have my good, professional reputation ruined by a couple idiots online just making ridiculous things up, judging my character and questioning my integrity, my loyalty and love for Spurs. On Sunday, Fulham away will be my 75th Spurs related game on this season, covering the men’s first team, the U21s and the U18s and the Women’s team, home and away, as well as pre-season in South Korea, Hong Kong and Germany. On social media, I am extremely careful what I post, how I post and what I say on various platforms. I have always maintained a good level of professionalism, am also polite and friendly, have never used “clickbait” and have a lot of respect from a lot of professional people who work in the football industry. I am extremely proud that I run and host the most watched and listened to Tottenham related YouTube channel and podcast and with that comes a lot of responsibility, so I am very careful what goes out and how things are worded. In the last few days, I have learnt a lot about people, social media, the people who want to stir trouble, the many individuals who just want to bring you down without even the story, the background, and many of these people don’t even know me or have met me. Most aren’t even young and naïve, they are full grown adults who are jealous, they are here online to hate, be negative and want to cause trouble to others. I’ve also learnt a lot from certain individuals who haven’t said a word, when they know the fully story. Social media, particularly X, can be vile at times, but surely people can have a mind of their own, think for themselves and not be led my idiots, liars, stirrers and jealous individuals. If you don’t know the back story, I posted a video on Sunday, during the North London derby, showing Tudor talking to his defence asking them to “push up”, he was talking to his whole defence and my caption on X was “Igor Tudor is constantly at Micky van de Ven, telling the back-line to push up!” Earlier I posted another post “Igor Tudor seems to be very hands-on early on, having chats with van de Ven, Bissouma, Spence and Sarr.” – NOTHING in these two posts were inaccurate, clickbait or were aimed to cause trouble or negatively, and Tudor himself in the press conference confirmed he was talking to his “whole defence” – as I stated. What happened following the post, people took it upon themselves to create their own narrative, and despite watching the video themselves many went on to criticise and say all sorts, some media outlets picked this up and they also created 1,001 stories. It’s extremely weird how so many have a problem with what I wrote (facts) and if you go onto many of their profiles they have been slating the club all season, the manager(s), the players and the fans, pretty much everything. This season hasn’t been a good one on the pitch and I get the frustration. Anyone that actually knows me knows what sort of person I am and I shouldn’t be explaining myself here; but try questioning the people who created all these narratives, made lies up, created headlines, etc, it simply wasn’t me. The other thing that is extremely weird with some, people assume so much about me, without asking, like YouTube is my job, it isn’t. And only last week I was a “happy clapper” and “he works for the club!” And now I apparently want to bring the club down and slate a player. No, absolutely not. What will it be next week? Some have agendas, I get it, some see I run a very successful channel and they want the same. People always want what you have – that’s life. I work very hard in a professional way every day, constantly evolving in what I do on a daily basis and always try to remain positive, something else I am often criticised for… Would I really have a channel that has had 190 million views and over 207,000 subscribers if I acted the way some have stated? Like I said, 75 games so far this season, and this is also something I get criticised for – how can you get criticised by supporting the club all over?! What a crazy world we live in. Tottenham Hotspur is my passion, I love the club, Life is far too short, want to follow me, fine, don’t want to follow, no problem at all, don’t like what I do or don’t agree with my opinions, I don’t care about numbers, how many clicks, how many followers, etc - no hard feelings at all – just block, we all move on, but have a mind of your own, don’t scapegoat people. This is the last I will say on this matter, and it’s also the last time I write something like this on X explaining myself. And many thanks to the people who have reached out in the last few days. Have a great weekend and let’s hope for three points at Craven Cottage. #COYS #THFC

@ChangeForSpurs Its not that you’re wrong, because you’re not. But immediately putting out a statement like this after they do something we all generally agree to be good just makes you seem petulant and hurts your credibility. Less drama, credit where its due, and criticism when its due.

A few years ago, the wife of a guy I went to uni with cheated on him with a very famous ex footballer. It ruined his life. The lengths the person went to to bury the story were extraordinary and I learned during that time that this was far from an isolated incident.

@marcus_buckland I said, I pay £24k a year to watch this dross, when is she going sack Frank and sell up. What annoyed me is she just walked away and didn’t face up, just say something. Before the game I said to her we need to hear from the Lewis family directly!

As I left the ground this evening our supporters were fighting + screaming at each other, a little boy was crying his eyes out and, in the background, came the victorious chants of the away fans. As miserable an afternoon as I can recall for a long time. The club is a mess 😢

We have reached agreement with Crystal Palace for the transfer of Brennan Johnson. The 24-year-old Wales international's name will forever be etched into our history as the winning goalscorer in last season's UEFA Europa League Final, his close-range effort proving to be the only goal of the game as we defeated Manchester United in Bilbao. We thank Brennan for his contribution and wish him well for the future. 🗞️ thfc.pro/4bgwUHV
