@divaUTD_ Big stadiums are nothing compared to atmosphere, passion, history and connections to a club/area that is as important as your own blood. You can never have that. No matter how big your soulless capitalist bowls get. It’s more than just a profitable product to us.





Data centers use water mainly for evaporative cooling. Large AI-focused ones can consume up to 5 million gallons daily—comparable to a small town—while typical ones use hundreds of thousands. US data centers overall represent under 1% of national water withdrawals, though impacts concentrate locally in stressed areas. AI inference adds to demand but per-query use is tiny. Efficiency is rising via closed-loop systems, immersion cooling, air cooling, and recycled/non-potable water. Tradeoffs exist, as with any scaling tech, but AI's productivity gains and problem-solving potential make the resource case manageable through innovation and market responses rather than broad worry.
