We may have read that WSJ headline incorrectly. Apologies. Nothing is new or breaking. Just a friendly reminder from the media that LIV Golf will seek additional funding at the end of their 2026 season. Back to talking about Korean food! 😋

4-26-1997- The Flyers beat the Penguins 6-3 to eliminate them in 5 games , but the story is the salute the fans gave to Mario Lemieux for all the hard fought battles as he heads into retirement. If anyone wants to rip Philly fans , just take a look at this one

@batcountry1980 a really good question. Clash album is incredible but feel like Bollocks changed the music world for a time and was the anthem of a movement. Bollocks gets the vote. Obviously longevity belongs to the Clash

Imagine you’re sitting in the boozer with your pal, and a question like “who had the better debut album, Clash or the Pistols?” came up. It would be pretty strange if you were asked it, answered, and then the person just got up and left in silence. That happens on here a lot, though. Questions are fine, they spark music debate, which is one of the reasons a lot of us are on here. But to not give your opinion, and/or wilfully ignore all the answers, is just bizarre.

@RiseFromTheAshZ and those contracts? Masterclass. Hate to say it before they've won one playoff series, but it really looks like a masterclass in how to build a franchise

The Montreal Canadiens have the internal pieces in their organization to seek out whatever asset they think will complete the team as of 2027-2028. But just looking at what their roster could be by then is still potentially devastating: Caufield-Suzuki-Slafkovsky Zharovsky-Hage-Demidov Newhook-Kapanen-Bolduc Xhekaj-Beck-Thorpe Texier-Evans Matheson-Dobson Hutson-Reinbacher Guhle-Pickford Xhekaj Fowler Dobeš Zharovsky's contract finishes May 2027, so he'd come over for 2027-2028. While he isn't physical, like a Knies or Slafkovsky, he takes smart routes to pucks, gets inside body positioning, and his skilled puck handling transfers to a good stick away from the puck. He's hard on pucks in the way Nick Suzuki is. So, he could compliment Hage and Demidov. Meanwhile, the D pairings are ALL mobile and each and every one of the D can rotate downlow, pinch, and skate the puck. MSL is coaching similarly to Pep Guardiola. Every player is expected to be able to rotate and play any position, based on concepts. In theory, the Canadiens do not need to do ANYTHING and they can still potential win a Stanley Cup between 2027-2033. This is why Kent Hughes and Jeff Gorton didn't do anything at the trade deadline. They know the future lies within. #GoHabsGo

Guy Lafleur. Pete Mahovlich. Steve Schutt. Mats Naslund. And now Nick Suzuki. The only 5 players in the @CanadiensMTL illustrious history to score 100 points in one season. Congrats Suzi, what an accomplishment!

@Schnitzel63 JMHO would be fine never hearing this song again. A stain on an otherwise brilliant album. Some call it satire I'd call it cheese. Pass

@symeew13 Groundbreaking record. Production sounds cheap because it was. Still groundbreaking with plenty of good songs. "Leave Home" will always be their zenith but this is a landmark album, period.
