Last week we published a landmark paper in Nature describing the production of the world's leading vaccine adjuvant, QS-21, in yeast. This work will pave the way for affordable, readily available, effective vaccine adjuvants for the world.

Finished "Bacteriophage T4 Infection" this morning. The thin white line at left, which folds up and down 10 times, depicts the length of the T4 genome. After I add a few finishing touches and make sure I haven't forgotten anything, I'll put the full-size file @buildmodels.

Come work with us! Want to study how cancer cells regulate genes and how that determines response to therapy? Want to use that to predict which patients will respond to specific therapies and empirically determine personalized treatment regimens? @UNC_Lineberger @UNCSurgery

NEW PREPRINT: pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/37066379/ Intratumor heterogeneity is associated with worse outcomes and poor response to treatment across human solid organ tumors - so can we measure distinct responses in distinct cell types? Is that informative?
