Any extension/tree people recognize these guys? They don’t look like webworms or eastern tent caterpillar to me, but maybe I’m wrong 🤷🏼‍♀️ found on hedges on Cape Cod

@wittja01 @anh_bugs @No_See_Em @AutumnAngelus These are fall webworms. I have received heaps of pics from Cape Cod over the past few weeks of fall webworm being very active.

@anh_bugs @No_See_Em @AutumnAngelus @bugsintrees When I zoom in, it looks like these larvae have >6 prolegs. That plus the head capsule shape makes me think they're some kind of sawfly larvae. Some sawflys do spin webs, but I'm not sure which ones. I don't know sawflys real well so its hard to ID with only a pic
