@hyloguy @maklelan I'm referring specifically to what Talarico is doing in the posted clip, which is defining the Republican caucus by its predominate sexual orientation and gender identity.

This is only "weird" to people who refuse to accept or are discomfited by the fact that (1) straight cishetero white men are not the default identity that serve as the point of reference for all other people & (2) Republicans are disproprotionately those kinds of people. So QED.
