In this role I finally figured out that it’s not so much about getting it “right” (bc there’s a hundred right ways to do a thing) as it is about doing it the way your team expects to see it done and it’s removed so much stress and self judgement. Shout out to my first 90 days 🚀

Idk, I spent last year at a gig fighting to get my comp aligned with my value only to be forced to find a new role that did value me. This year I’m getting pay bumps just to keep my comp aligned with the new companies updated pay ranges. Sometimes the problem isn’t you 🤷🏾♀️

really was. I’m so sorry to have lost him but I have such deep gratitude for the example his life set. If I can be half the human being he was I will have done a great thing.

His kindness and purity radiated in a way that changed the lives of others. I didn’t realize it but he set the standard for morality and decency for me despite being 8 years my junior so seeing him through the eyes of others allowed me to see how extraordinary his way of being

My brother was cognitively disabled. He worked as a sign holder for Little Cesars for 17 years. He was poor and not conventionally accomplished. His home going was filled with people who felt compelled to share his impact. He didn’t shake up the world and yet he was truly beloved
