One thing I miss about NASCAR that came and went so quick was tandem drafting it literally came out of nowhere and it was a different style of racing at the super speedways, but just like everything people didn’t like it back then and quickly faded into history.

@dabfordale @DirtyAirRacing_ @collinstep918 I think it's notable that Ford doesn't have CUV that fits this series either. They have the Bronco Sport, but it's not marketed as a CUV.

@Megafrayder2 We struggle to get viewers/sponsors for the series we have currently. It just makes sense that if nascar has three series, and there are three main types of production vehicles, that each series races one of the types. Friday Trucks, Saturday CUV, Sunday Sedans.

@SJx22_ @BYNDmetropolis @ChasKrall The cars haven’t been similar since like 2007. If that’s your problem you should’ve quit watching decades ago.

Because the cars on Saturday should be similar to Sunday its meant for development not to be a stand alone series. We already have young guys coming up and it takes years just to understand how to drive the car on Sunday, we dont need to make it any harder. We also dont need an extra development series as the 2 lower series have 70 spots with like 10-15 real driving prospects as it is and thats before we even get to ARCA and how bad that is. If they have a crossover series it needs to be a limited schedule (like 8-10 races) with fun drivers like Cleetus, Deegan etc... going against top Cup or O'Reilly guys in OEM owned teams

Unpopular opinion: I would watch the heck out of a SUV stock car series.

@Megafrayder2 No one’s said a word about using an EV, the only thing being discussed is making the 2nd series a CUV body. If NASCAR implemented the body without changing the racing I see no reason to complain. Why is it okay to race a pickup truck but not a crossover?

@collinstep918 Oh yes im so sure everybody will watch NASCARs best series change over to a EV/CUV and say "this is fine". If you're in favor of further destroying the sport then good for you. Most of us wont accept it and will not watch

@BYNDmetropolis @ChasKrall Having two series race sedans IS redundant. We already race pickup trucks and no one has a single complaint, why is a Crossover the hill fans are choosing to die on?

@ChasKrall I’d watch it too lol. I don’t want it to replace cars though, but as an addition series that would be cool. Thing is we don’t need a redundant series, and it’s not really NASCAR’s fault that Chevy and Ford don’t make a second car to race in the NOAPS.

@DirtyAirRacing_ Ford hasn’t committed to making the Mustang past 2028. Chevy makes no sedan at all anymore. It will likely become an issue far sooner than you think.

@collinstep918 Sounds like a problem for 15 years from now. Companies will make cars we can use for Stock Cars. There will be at least one sedan from OEMs. The Mustang and Camry aint going anywhere
