It’s time to get this deal done for Nashville.
Dale Earnhardt Jr.@DaleJr

I went to Nashville Fairgrounds yesterday to test @HoosierTire for the upcoming @CARSTour race there on April 11th. I had a lot of fun. I hadn't ran a lap there since middle of 1999. I raced there a dozen times in the mid 1990s when it was a hotbed for Late Model Stocks. You'd have 30 cars for a weekly 100 lap feature. It was amazing. Somehow the Late Model Stock footprint receded to western Tennessee over the years. Anyhow, the track is fast. There are some weeper issues and a massive bump off turn 2 but it wasn't nothing of real concern. We also got a chance to test mufflers. The noise ordinance makes them a requirement. Speaking of which, Marcus Smith wants to build a sophisticated sound barrier around the track once the local government can get on board. Another conversation for another time. It was emotional to make those laps yesterday. Like visiting an old friend and realizing they still were the same person you always admired. Cant wait to have our Pro and Late Model Stock cars there next month. We plan to be in town at Tootsies on Thursday evening to promote the tour and hopefully allow some folks to meet our drivers. It's gonna be a big weekend. Hope to see ya there. If ya cant, you can catch it live on @FloRacing

@glman99 @StreetsblogNYC I don't know. Was school in session? Also, have you looked at a map? With the schools so clustered together, lots of things are school zones.

@StreetsblogNYC I sent her this- Drivers should look into purchasing a GPS with dedicated speed camera detectors which will identify speed camera locations. These apps provide audible alerts to notify drivers of approaching cameras so they can slow down to 25mph to avoid a ticket in a 15mph zone

@smug_diva @JohnH721 @DiecastReview And as I've already said, you could also simply forgo the pointless clip and avoid the issue entirely. Glad you're aware of my work performance and experience though.

@glman99 @JohnH721 @DiecastReview Then you must not be very good at your job if you think an ad agency is better off paying an animator for a 2 second clip vs using the AI tool your company already pays for. The logistics, time, and money involved would literally make it not worth doing. You SHOULD know that.

@JohnH721 @glman99 @DiecastReview People who have no idea how the industry works have such a weird fantasy about helping out the little guy with jobs for pennies. It would cost the marketing team more to contact a random animator, get the animation done, and implement it to their ad. Without paying.

@glman99 @JohnH721 @DiecastReview Professional US Based designers and rendering artists require such a high pay that they would actually lose money by taking jobs this short.

@JohnH721 @DiecastReview There are professional, US-based designers and rendering artists who could make this for a totally reasonable fee. Instead using slop created by stealing their work is dumb. If you can't do that, just use an image - no need for the video in the first place.

@DiecastReview Atleast it looks like the real unlike a certain multi-billion dollar partner that has a contractual obligation to promote the sport to the best of their abilities.

@JohnH721 @DiecastReview You can absolutely hire a freelancer to do this. No one is making these a day in advance.

@DiecastReview Why do y’all always think this is the answer? Do y’all not understand how salaries and budgets work? Most jobs are not just like “Hey just hire a dude from X to make a 3 second clip that we need by tomorrow afternoon.”

@KPW9086 @NateDog_51 @NASCARonReddit @danieldye43 This is just not true. It's very easy to look at ProPublica and see spending. There's a difference between an org using money to fund awareness campaigns (still an issue) and one with no real board or employees that solely spends on supporting a single driver's career.
