We often assume people living homeless don’t have jobs. Not true. They often work in our hotels, restaurants, & warehouses. Affording rent in Alabama at minimum wage requires working 87 hours/week! 7.25/hr. doesn’t add up to end homelessness for workers. cbs42.com/alabama-news/m…

@The_John_Oliver @OccupyDemocrats The process SHOULD be easier, & it has nothing to do with intelligence. Our organization funds/obtains birth certificates & state IDs for Alabamians in poverty. It’s about access, & that is always restricted for the poor, which is disproportionately POC due to historic racism.
