Recap: Binance just reminded everyone who really runs this market, this crash wasn’t about trump, tariffs, or macro, that was noise, the real story happened inside the books: One market maker, you definitely know, moved $700M to Binance hours before the crash, 200M of that was in $BTC. Few noticed. Then, as traditional markets bled, crypto started following, but something was off the order books on Binance went hollow. No bids, no walls, just a free fall waiting to happen. Volume on $BTC candles: > 23:00 – 2k sold > 00:00 – 12k > Even one-minute candle had 1k btc "inside" Was this organic? Here’s an update on the incident. I was able to identify the person responsible for draining all the funds, and I’m relieved to say I’ll be getting them back. It turned out to be someone very close to me who had access to the handwritten seed phrase, so it wasn’t a hack involving Google Drive, malware, or anything like that. Although I can’t go into all the details, I want to clarify that it was a mix of complicated, misunderstood situations that got out of hand. I’m truly embarrassed for causing such a scene, but I’m happy to say everything is going to be fine. I want to thank everyone who reached out with concern. I’ll make sure to get back to each of you. Some of you went above and beyond with incredible offers of help, and I’m forever grateful for the support and kindness from this community. This whole incident has been a huge wake-up call for me. It reminded me of how crucial it is to have strong security for my valuables. I’ll be taking the time to upgrade my security measures and avoid careless mistakes, like storing a photo of my seed phrase on Google Drive even if that wasn't the cause.

I just became a victim of cybercrime. All of my wallets were compromised, and my life savings, everything I earned as an artist in Web3 are gone. This happened during a 14-hour flight from Korea to New York, coincidentally in mid-flight when I had no internet access. I have no idea how it happened, but my best guess is a seed phrase leak. I had a photo of my handwritten seed phrase (not digital) synced to Google Drive, hidden in a random folder, but there’s no sign of any suspicious login activity. It could also have been a leak from the physical paper, but I’m not sure. Public WiFi? Maybe. Malware? I’m pretty sure I didn’t download anything, at least not knowingly. I haven’t had any interactions with suspicious individuals lately either. The strange part is that only my funds were taken while all of my NFTs remained untouched. I’ve already started moving my valuable NFTs to a new, secure wallet. I’m left with nothing now, and this is probably the biggest challenge of my life. My biggest concern is that all my family members rely on me financially, so I need to bounce back as quickly as possible to continue supporting them. Right now, my mind is exhausted and I need to get some sleep first.
