Things I'm putting into my Claude code. Claude.md File, it's little things but sure does help a lot. Every time Claude Code or Gemini or whatever you're using spins up a new server for local testing in your browser, you should have it loaded in your claude.md file to run what's called a smoke test. This means it's just going to go check that the server is up and running so you don't have to go check and it doesn't work for some reason. Add this to your claude.md file at the global level. Or what platform do you use. ## When Working With Me - Be concise, skip obvious explanations - Just make the fix, don't ask permission for small changes - If something's unclear, make a reasonable assumption and note it - **After starting/restarting the dev server**, always smoke test: wait for ready, curl the homepage, then agent-browser open key pages affected by recent changes P.S. Always remember to exit Claude and then restart Claude -- continue. To load the new claude.md into context. P.P.S. I know this is simple but it's a time saver when you do this many times a day.
