@emzanotti Counterpoint here - for Disneyland Japan (or Disney Sea) - there is a bit of planning involved, because the crowds are crazy huge, so if you want to ride certain rides without waiting all day, you have to wake up super early to get in line an or two before it opens.

I am an unabashed Disney Parks lover, but even I have had to admit the parks are kind of a mess. There’s only so much nostalgia I have for, say, EPCOT, and at some point, the price just isn’t worth it anymore, especially when everything is an additional cost, and to maximize your stay, you need an actual degree in planning or hired help. But that’s just the *American* parks. Our plan, for next time, is to take a family trip to Japan and go to the parks there. The cost is the same. I’ve also heard really exceptional things about Disney cruises.

@timothyjphelan History of Catholicism in Japan is always interesting to me. The blood of the martyrs is the seed of the Church. May that seed bloom strongly one day!

I literally have no one here in my part of Japan that I can have a deep, theological conversation about Catholicism with in English or Japanese. That’s the reality of Catholic Christianity in Japan. For me, Catholic Twitter/X fills a real need. God bless you all.

Catholicism is not Biblical Christianity. It is a pagan form of Christianity. It's my Lord Jesus who has prevented you from speading lies. The Catholic Jesus isn't the biblical Jesus. When your church added works to the requirement of salvation, your church created another Jesus not found in scripture. All anyone has to do is read their Bible to find the truth. The truth is not in the Catholic Church and never has been. I encourage you to study the word of God and not Catholic traditions. You are deceived by your denomination.
