@smlpth @RiaannAd I think, but have not confirmed, that Bugsnag's Java integration is somewhat better (it automatically captures servlet parameters and such-I couldn't confirm that Sentry provides that). Other than that both seem on par.

@RiaannAd I've used both in production and both fulfilled my need. I don't have a clear preference for either. They both have the basic features I need. It's actually not something very complicated nor complex, so it's hard to differentiate.

Bugsnag's official site is the 3rd search result when looking for "bugsnag". I find the possibility to buy a competitor's name's keyword hilarious, this never gets old.
