@UnseenJapanSite I mean, to be fair, I’ve had friends who lived in central Tokyo but have had to travel 2+ hours to take the test due to lack of space at closer test sites.
In today's episode of "let's beat up on foreigners for no reason," The Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) announced that tourists will no longer be able to take the test inside Japan - only residents. No indication of exactly what problem this new rule is trying to solve.
Dear @HiltonHotels,
I’m flying into Atlanta at the end of the month to visit my granddad for his 93rd birthday. I usually stay in one of your hotels in the area.
I’m a proud law enforcement officer. Unfortunately, it looks like you don’t want my business. Looks like I’ll have to stay elsewhere. I’ll be cancelling my reservation.
I’ll make sure I let any other law enforcement officer know your stance. We certainly wouldn’t want to stay where we’re not welcome. Between us, our friends, and our families, looks like we’ll all be finding another hotel.
Too bad… oh well.
No hugs. Anti-cop types don’t get hugs.
