@chadcluff Man the exchange rate was so bad when I was there; we had to make burritos using Cheez Wiz and No Name chicken hotdogs (they were 15 cents cheaper)...
On one area on my mission I basically lived on Taco Bell cheesey chili burritos. They were great at $.99 Canadian. So I had to go get one now that they are back. Still tasty. But $3 is too expensive. Also the quality of ingredients at Del Taco is head and shoulders above TB
@ToddLlewellyn I get the frustration, but reseating is the fairest approach. The seats belong to BYU, not us, and this process ensures that those consistently supporting the program financially get the access they deserve, not just those who’ve held the same seats the longest.
@SnazzyLabs@LehiCity recently rolled out their own municipal fiber (not UTOPIA) with 5 ISPs available. Its reasonably priced, and been rock solid.
I signed up the day it was available, and its been rock solid.
The internet is an essential public utility and should be treated as such.
Fiber networks should be (a) municipally owned, (b) funded by bonds and repaid by subscriber fees/dues, (c) leased to many different ISPs to ensure the lowest prices possible.
It works. That is all.
I need your help. I'm looking for a new Developer Relations role after a round of layoffs at Earthly last week. My nearly 4 years there introduced me to DevRel, and it's become a true passion.
At Earthly, I combined coding with creating tutorials, talks, and YouTube videos. Here are some examples:
‣ Written Tutorial: earthly.dev/blog/jq-select/
‣ Video Tutorial: youtube.com/watch?v=V5rKVr…
‣ Conference Talk: youtube.com/watch?v=89ESCB…
My developer-focused content reached the front page of Hacker News and Reddit's /r/programming over 20 times. We grew our website visitors from 0 to over 2 million devs a year – that's about 30,000 visitors on an average Monday! Youtube, newsletters and most importantly paying customer numbers grew via content creation.
Beyond content creation, I contributed to community work, product development, bug fixes, documentation, and conference talks. I'm eager to find another role where I can use my dev and communication skills to reach and educate software engineers.
I'd love to chat with dev tool, DevOps, app security, or ML companies targeting engineers.
Here's how you can help: Who do you think I should talk to? Any job-seeking advice? Feel free to reshare or comment to boost the visibility of this post.
@friend_shape Fill a normal sized bowl with broccoli and add like 1 tbsp of water, salt and pepper to taste. Put it in a bowl, and microwave it covered for 4 minutes. Drain excess liquid, stir in a handful or two of shredded cheese.

The Winnipeg Jets hockey team moved to Phoenix and are now moving to Utah. I served a mission in Winnipeg so it can be argued that I brought the team here.
📣 Introducing Earthly docker-build! Now you can run Dockerfiles with Earthly. So it's easy to have a repo with mixed Dockerfiles and Earthfiles, and you can use Earthly Satellites as a persistent remote BuildKit cache for Dockerfile-based builds.

@chadcluff I've had good experiences with the folks at Main Street Mechanic in AF. I took my Sonata in and just kinda gave them a laundry list of maintenance and it was handled well. They were quick, courteous, and didn't really upsell me which was nice
Hey Twitter folks, my Tacoma is coming up on 150k miles. I feel like this is a milestone that I should take it in for a service beyond the oil change that I typically do every 3k miles. I normally take it in to the Havoline shop in Saratoga Springs. What/where should I go?
