The first American pope in history is now a refugee from his own country because he dared to speak out in favor of peace. Let that sink in. Just let. That. Sink. In.

Perhaps Trump would have done this regardless, but let’s not forget Biden created this pre-emptive pardon precedent. The only good news that might come out of this pardon corruption: we will get a bipartisan supported Constitutional amendment to create a Congressional nullification process for all presidential pardons.

BREAKING: Trump promises mass pardons for his staff before leaving office. WSJ reports that in a recent meeting, Trump said he would pardon those “within 200 feet of the Oval Office.”

Hundreds of millions of people throughout the world are immersed in extreme poverty. Yet, disproportionate wealth remains in the hands of a few. It is an unjust scenario, in the face of which we cannot fail to question ourselves and commit to change things. There is no lack of resources at the root of disparities, but the need to address solvable problems related to a more equitable distribution of wealth, to be achieved with moral sense and honesty.

God does not bless any conflict. Anyone who is a disciple of Christ, the Prince of Peace, is never on the side of those who once wielded the sword and today drop bombs. Military action will not create space for freedom or times of #Peace, which comes only from the patient promotion of coexistence and dialogue among peoples.

@cpscott16 Difference is Argentina tried to invade the Falklands, see? They invaded a NATO country. NATO is a defensive alliance. US is part of NATO (at the moment). So they helped GB DEFEND from an attacker. Now, USA attacked Iran. "Attack" is the key word her Chads, understand?

Just a reminder: in 1982, when Great Britain was attacked by Argentina, starting the Falklands War, the United States did not come to their aid because the Falklands are not in the North Atlantic and the British did not bitch about it. In 1956, when the French and British attacked Egypt, causing the Suez Crisis, despite the fact that France and Great Britain are in NATO, the United States not only refused to assist, but went to the United Nations to condemn them for attacking Egypt. In 2019, when Turkey decided to attack Syria, the Trump administration had the Pentagon send out an official notice that they did not support the campaign and would not send troops. So kindly shut the fuck up, everyone in the White House.

To those warmongering cosplay soldiers sitting with their latte coffees and jumbo sized popcorn thousands of miles away from war torn countries…if they are so keen on war, perhaps they should sign up to fight in it. I suspect they would blub at the first sound of gunfire.

🚨 BREAKING: Sen. John Fetterman says Democrats who want to 25th Amendment President Trump over Iran should start siding with CIVILIZATION instead of TDS "You know, why can't we just root for our military? Why can't we just say, I don't have to agree everything the president has done or the kind of things that he says, but you know, we should be on the side of America and we should be on the sides of civilization and the free world!" "And I'm on that side and I don't know why I'm the only Democrat that says those kinds of things at this point."

Nobody in Europe cares any longer what he says. It was a big mistake to agree to the ridiculously unfair trade deal that he demanded last year. Since then Europe has learned that the unreasonable demands just keep coming and never stop. So we just ignore it or say no, and he is not going to do anything about it. He is an old man yelling at clouds, and we dont care.

For the Trump administration to understand: The Strait of Hormuz is NOT OPEN. The UAE does not and will NEVER accept the Islamic regime in Iran imposing CONDITIONS on access. The UAE is not Britain or the EU. It does not accept any terrorist actor restricting freedom of navigation. As for Pakistan, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia negotiating to keep the regime afloat, understand this: no state has a legitimate right to decide who may pass and under what terms. That is international law, not a bargaining chip. Shame on United Kingdom, NATO, European Union, and anyone who tolerates this regime’s terrorism and piracy.

This is not meant to insult, but the reality is there are significant numbers of low-info voters in this country who rely on sound bites. Democrats have traditionally dominated this segment, but Trump has been one of the few Republicans to also reach this group with his messaging. The GOP has failed though.

I’ve been a registered Republican for seven months. I travel across Colorado for my work, and despite it being a Democrat-dominated state, I see that a majority of Coloradans (including a significant number of gays), align on the actual issues with a conservative platform. Where the GOP has failed, and the Democrats continue to succeed, is on identity politics and “guilt by association” branding. I meet people every day who are fundamentally conservative but will not consider voting Republican because they’ve been convinced by an onslaught of Democrat propaganda that doing so would associate themselves with “pedophiles” or “racists” or “anti-progressives.” So out of social shame and conformist pressure to be viewed as “nice,” they vote for the Democrats and their destructive policies. The @GOP needs to develop a smart, targeted marketing campaign on social media that interviews diverse Republicans and independents about why they are conservative. Why is the Republican Party asleep at the wheel on marketing (and so many other issues like the SAVE act)?
