In Bengaluru, my father always calls Anwar the electrician when needed for works in the house. It has been decades. Earlier, Anwar dressed like any other person but slowly changed to skull cap & short pajama (to enable feet-washing before going to pray). What's more, there was no longer any eye-contact, no smiling in response to my dad's jokes. The radicalization is palpable. My father still calls him because others are not doing as good a job. There is a big problem brewing and I shudder to think about it.
