No, you should not learn "AI first" You need to learn a real skill set Everyone that tells you otherwise does not want you to win Period.

let's say "skills" as in "know how the thing works". Its a knowledge base, one that you have accumulated over time doing that thing. Let's take a lawyer for example. You put in the work to become a lawyer which has shaped you to do things a certain way. It gave you and insight into things that you wouldn't have had you not done the thing.

@explorersofai I think people weren't using their brains even before. This led to various problems for different individuals. Now, however, it is much more noticeable, because these problems have started recurring far too frequently - since everyone is using the exact same AI-generated answers

I finally realized that a lot of people are not using their brains to think anymore. The reason is AI. Problems that were easy to solve are now being passed on to AI. Super complicated workflows are being created for no logical reason. What was free and effective before now costs at least 1M tokens. Oh well.

@refactorfiend yeah, you are right. but what about the at least 50% obese people in the US that are suffering from diabetes and other slow death diseases? what happened here? some used the car in a efficient way and others use it to go to the mc drive thru everyday. see the difference?

@P33RL3SS Most people would choose to fight with AI instead of trying to solve the problem on their own because they are used to using AI. The struggle is real.

@explorersofai Give people harder problems to solve so they have to use their brain. The majority of work people do is easy and automatable.

you know when you're freaking stoked about what your building? I'll be taking a bit more time to make this a really worthwhile tool. It's cool and I use it everyday - it helps me understand what to do better, find little bugs etc. Can't wait to share more with you. Everybody should build something.
