Americans can’t afford this war. It’s hitting them directly in their pocketbooks.
Trump woke up one day and decided to attack Iran, and now your life is measurably worse off as a result. How is that fair?
ABC News@ABC
Higher grocery prices could soon hit supermarkets as the war with Iran continues. The higher prices are because of a surge in the cost of diesel fuel, which powers many of the vehicles transport products across a vast global supply chain. abcnews.link/QyhHNd7

@TaylorDRhodes2A That is why back in the 60’s they had to push that historically flawed collective right nonsense.

@TodayUpdates0 I do not want to pay any of my 24% in taxes to healthcare for illegal aliens.

🚨 President Trump has dropped a bombshell on Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries, declaring that the Republican Party will NOT accept demands for $1.5 trillion to fund healthcare for illegal immigrants in order to reopen the government.
Trump: "It's a DEMOCRAT SHUTDOWN."
Do you agree with Trump?
YES or NO?

‘The Court has held that "the Second Amendment extends, prima facie, to all instruments that constitute bearable arms, even those that were not in existence at the time of the founding," (citing Heller) and that this "Second Amendment right is fully applicable to the States," (citing McDonald.) Caetano at 1027.
English

I know the 2A is a very long 27 words.. but it does NOT say anywhere in it:
".. the right to keep and bear guns that fire 1 round a minute shall not be infringed."
Just in case you thought it did.
It doesn't.
Arms. Shall not be infringed.
Game over, silly little liberal.

The State’s can’t “regulate” the militia at all. Which (aside from McDonald’s 14A application,) means the State’s can’t regulate the RKBA at all. We were always allowed to arm ourselves and form independent militia units. For God sakes, Georges Mason and Washington’s Fairfax County militia was an independent militia. The only thing the State’s can do is disarm violent criminals. We have lost sight of this bc NJ’s 1966 Law claimed it was designed “conscientiously designed toward preventing criminal and other unfit elements from acquiring firearms while enabling the fit elements of society to obtain them with minimal burdens and inconveniences.” Burton v Sills at 105. California’s laws are based off NJ’s 66’ law. All the AWB’s are based on NJ’s 1990 law. However, every single on of the claims made by NJ in Burton in 66’ has been overturned by Heller, McDonald, Caetano, Bruen. None of these laws are plain text. None are 1791. And as the law is dated in 1966, none of them can possibly have an analogue.

@MrColionNoir Veteran or no Veteran guy made himself instantly un credible. Which is the status quo for all the guns laws they have passed in the last 30 years.
English

A veteran said the AR-15 is more powerful than the military’s M4…
And people actually want laws passed based on that level of ignorance.
This is exactly how bad gun laws happen.
Not facts.
Not logic.
Just emotion, fear, and people saying things that sound good to crowds who don’t know better.
So let me ask the gun community something:
What’s more dangerous at this point—
the rifle they keep lying about…
or the people making laws who don’t know a damn thing about it?
And be honest—
Should being a veteran protect someone from criticism when what they’re saying about guns is flat-out false?

Does military service give someone instant credibility on gun policy — yes or no?

@ValerieAnne1970 Used to drive me crazy. Who in the actual fuck nominated themselves as 6 foot distance moderators. 1977 6th grade Safety Patrol kids who reported 5th graders for crossing the street outside the crosswalk.

You know what's funny though?
Democrats controlled the House, the Senate, and the White House and somehow you never eliminated hunger for a decade.
But you know what did get funded??
>$6 billion to Iran.
>Gender studies programs in Pakistan.
>DEI coordinators at every federal agency.
>87,000 new IRS agents.
>A $400 million embassy in Kabul that we abandoned.
>NGOs that can't account for where the money went.
>Ukraine aid with zero audit trail.
>COVID contracts to companies that didn't exist.
>PPP loans to people who didn't have employees.
USAID spent years shoveling money into programs nobody approved, nobody tracked, and nobody could explain.
So before you post about hungry people...
Maybe ask yourself why YOUR party that ran on feeding them has been in power for decades in every major American city...
...and those cities have the highest poverty, the worst schools, and the most homeless people in the country
You can be against the war, you can make that case.
But you don't get to pretend the alternative was EVER the hungry children.
The Democrats were never sending money to them.
It was NEVER going to the veterans.
It was NEVER going to the schools.
You didn't forget the poor.
YOU NEED them TO WIN.
A problem solved is a fundraising opportunity lost... that's why it's never fixed.
That's why and we all know it.

@gunpolicy We need to get the Caetano Conjunctive Test cited and becoming precedent in the next SCOTUS decision. It applies to all of the on deck cases.
English

The whole reason we have a Bill of Rights was because the founders were worried that (new) federal government would do the same things the British had done. Powder Alarm at Somerset; Lexington & Concord, Dunmore’s raid on the Williamsburg Powder House, Gage not letting citizens leave city without turning in their arms, were the British version of Red Flag Laws that helped lead to the Revolution.
English

New Michigan data shows how red flag gun confiscation orders are being used to trample 2A rights.
Nearly 90% of gun confiscation orders were issued without notice or a prior hearing — meaning rights are stripped first and questions are asked later.

GunForHireRadio #774 In Federalist 57, James Madison wrote "If the American spirit shall ever be so far debased as to tolerate a law not obligatory on the legislature, as well as on the people, the people will be prepared to tolerate anything but liberty." In other words, a populace willing to tolerate elected leaders that enact laws that don't apply to themselves are unworthy of self-government. And the NRA launches a new awesome APP! The f-d up thing is that almost, if not all, of the Colonial militia era laws, that is to say “regulations” the Light Horse of Dragoons were required to carry SBR’s in the name of Blunderbuss or short musket called a Dragon which is where Dragoons got their name. They were also required to carry a pair of pistols. Under the Heller methodology both SBR’s and Arm-Brace Pistols and Arm-Brace Others were “in common use at the time” as per Miller at 179. Easy to look up its on Wikipedia.

English

With all the crazy news lately it would be easy to miss the fact that the Trump DOJ/ATF just filed a document in court last week using flowery lawyer language to say "we still think guns with pistol braces on them are legally SBRs and we will prosecute Americans who own them and put them in prison for 10 years per offense."
Yes, I know they lost the "brace rule" legal battle and I've made multiple videos on it since 2023 but that doesn't seem to be a concern to them.
Plan accordingly (buy all the braced pistols you want 🦅)...
