Yes, we launched another L2. No, the world didn’t need more of them. But it did need this one. @TREX_chain just raised $17M to fix what every chain ignores: → Builders struggling to get discovered → dApps launching into ghost towns → Infra that promises “support” and disappears As a builder, (yes @EVGHQ is not a VC, we're a venture studio. we invest AND build products) our products shipped across 10+ chains and talked to 30+ chains. We love the people. But business is business. No marketing support. No grants. Maybe a gas rebate if you're lucky. Mostly? Just adding more team members in the same group chat till it reached 30. InfoFi is officially dead💀 X has pulled the plug on API access for apps that incentivize spam. The era of "farming engagement for pennies" is over. x.com/nikitabier/sta… But this wasn't a sudden death, it was a necessary execution. The marketing millions aren't disappearing. They are moving. Here is why the death of AI noise is the birth of Real Contribution👇 The signs were everywhere. It wasn’t just @NikitaBier. For months, the user experience on CT has been suffocating. From @beeple mocking the spam to @nic_carter declaring CT is "dead" due to noise, the ecosystem was suffering from severe "Attention Pollution". For a long time, the meta was "Quantity > Quality". Users spammed tickers to farm points. Projects paid for metrics that looked good on paper but meant nothing for actual retention. We created an economy of noise, where real signals got drowned out by incentivized "yapping." But the noise bubble just popped. So, what happens now? The budget ($100M+ was distributed by InfoFi alone) has to go somewhere. The market is correcting from Artificial Engagement -> Authentic Contribution. Projects no longer want bot-like replies. They want verifiable users, genuine advocates, and deep education. The immediate aftermath is a pivot to elitism. Leading InfoFi platforms are already transitioning back to the "Traditional Agency" model, hand-picking KOLs and closing the doors on permissionless participation. The gap? This leaves 99% of genuine users and rising creators with zero access to opportunities. This is where the market fractured: Option A (Old InfoFi): Open to everyone, but drowned in Bot Spam. ❌ (DEAD) Option B (Agency Model): High quality, but exclusive to the top 1%. ❌ (LIMITED) We need Option C: Verified Contribution. This is exactly what @TREX_chain has been preparing for. While the market optimized for "Reply Guys", T-REX optimized for Real Contribution. We saw this coming. Sustainable distribution isn't about how many times you tweet a ticker. It's about the value you bring to the ecosystem. Forget about the Old Way (InfoFi): Mindless tagging, AI-generated replies, spamming hashtags for leaderboard spots. Go for: On-chain verification, deep-dive quests, and "Proof of Loyalty". We reward the User and the Creator, not the Spammer. It isn't about "InfoFi" (paying for noise). It's about "ActionFi" (paying for value). We saw the AI spam problem coming. That’s why we never optimized for "Replies." We optimize for Proof of Loyalty and On-Chain Action. For Projects: You don't need 10,000 bots saying "LFG." You need 1,000 users who actually understand your product. The "Agency" model is too slow. You still need to scale, but you need a clean scale. T-REX offers the distribution power of InfoFi without the pollution. We deliver users who do things, not just bots that say things. For Creators/Users: If you lost your income from InfoFi yesterday, I feel for you. But the "easy money" of low-effort farming is gone. To survive 2026, you must pivot to value. The demand for your contribution isn't gone. Stop farming replies. Start building a reputation based on verified actions. The Attention Economy is dead. Long live the Contribution Economy. High-quality participation (content, usage, retention) is finally valued over volume. The future belongs to those who generate signal, not noise. T-REX is waiting🦖

We have revoked API access from these apps, so your X experience should start improving soon (once the bots realize they’re not getting paid anymore).
