As a windows user working only with code that Lies in WSL2, it would be amazing if the desktop app just could remote control Claude code cli, that's running as a daemon inside wsl2, so every action really happens inside the Linux box and not on windows, are there any plans for that?

@RobertJBye Another one from me! Claude code in the iOS/ipad app doesn’t allow you to select the same models (e.g. Opus 4.6 1m context) as on pc, and no option to select “thinking” from what I can see

An enormous amount of the work in all commercial AI labs comes from open source software. E.g the original LLM, ULMFiT, was open source, and led to the creation of GPT at OpenAI, where the Anthropic founding team was working at the time. Innovation happens through open research

I can finally publicly state one reason I’ve not been bullish on open source catching up and overtaking the frontier labs: we observed several of the top open source models distilling from Claude. Leapfrogging happens through innovation, not distillation.

Piotr discovered something worrying: if you give an LLM a list of tools it's allowed to call, it might decide to also call a tool you didn't provide! Impacts all major US providers except @OpenAI. Be sure to check LLM tool call requests! (Lisette/Claudette check automatically)
