The Red Sox are making history with their first 3 hitters in the lineup striking out for the 3rd consecutive time to start the game. No team has done that since 1901. @NESN booth is all over it. Drew Rasmussen also has a career-high with 12 Ks. Downright embarrassing.

@EdHand89 I rather enjoyed last night's game. Like everyone, I love Tolle. Durbin keeps making plays and is starting to hit. They didn't quit against a tough team. Yeah, the record sucks but watching this team isn't a chore or torture. Following it is....

Don't get me wrong, I want the Red Sox to be good. I want to enjoy watching them. I'd rather they just commit to selling early and come back stronger next year. The core is fine, they just need to add a few veteran leaders and you can do that in free agency if you are actually willing to overspend a little bit.

There are a lot of people to be pissed off at within FSG, but I have nothing but respect for the job Chad Tracy has done. The Red Sox have given him an impossible assignment that he's handled gracefully thus far.

I've come around on Mookie's relationship with the city of Boston. Used to think he'd never ever have extended with Boston, but he says he would've signed long term for the right, respectable offer and I see no reason to doubt him. Henry has never paid top dollar, but we're expected to believe the impetus was on Mookie?
