Next to no Irish people watched that game without booze. Or farcical bias. Ireland had it won. Even at 2-1. Physically and technically bossing one of worst international teams imaginable. Their coach was on camera all through as a joker on international feed. So physically and technically superior, what you do? Give them the ball for the next 45, and extra time, until you're jaded and need to cling on and lose on penalties.
