@hattonsgrace1 @Paraic_Fanning He gave frees for a pick up where the ball clearly bounced, blew too many soft frees for the game to open up. Gave a free for a clear flick off hurl, way too fussy. Was poor for both teams

Is this the standard of inter county refereeing we can expect for the year?

Yesterday in Davos, President @ZelenskyyUa crossed a line. There is nothing new in the fact that, as elections approach in Hungary, he once again placed the Hungarian government, and me personally, in his sights. What was surprising, however, was that in his speech he also criticised every other European leader. He says the support sent to Ukraine is insufficient, the weapons are insufficient, and Europe’s determination is insufficient. We did not have to wait long for the response from Brussels. Last night, @vonderleyen presented a roadmap for Ukraine’s development. In it, the Brusselians accepted every Ukrainian demand. $800 billion for Ukraine, accelerated EU accession by 2027, and further support all the way until 2040. This is where things stand. President Zelenskyy has things all backwards, yet the Brusselians are eager to pay up. We will have a few words to say about this as well. A national petition is coming, through which we can send a clear message to Brussels: we will not pay!

Only Na Piarsaigh got within a score of Ballygunner outside of Waterford this year Their winning margins against Limerick, Cork, Clare, Wexford and Galway champions were 3, 7, 9, 9, and 6 I've said it before, by the time this team is finished they'll be the best ever

Ballygunner full value for the win - early second half goal was a huge score. They had a lead and went very defensive then, sucking the life out of Loughrea. 2 All Ireland´s now and counting for them....

@BrexitBloopers So Ukraine didn't slaughter it's own people from 2014 onwards? Or was that not aggressive?

As you slept, the EU took about €212 from you, and gave it to Ukraine to give to multi-billionaire weapons manufacturers. So basically, this Christmas, if you've a family of four, you've just had close to a grand wiped from your savings. Could you have done with that cash?

@cornpop_pop_pop We share borders. Why should we threaten them constantly and not expect them to do the same.

Trump is a breath of fresh air. He states that Ukraine has started the war. They did, not by invading Russia, but by a myriad of casus belli since 2014.

@TheLiberal_ie Fairly sure there was a general election in late 2023 that allowed the citizens to say who spoke for them , but I'm open to correction if I'm wrong

Why is the entire Irish government proclaiming that “Ireland stands firmly with Ukraine, Russia must withdraw”. Who gave them the authority to speak for “Ireland”. They’ve unilaterally decided what the Irish people think. Maybe the Irish people are sick and tired of sending millions to a blatantly corrupt Ukraine. Maybe the Irish people know what Ukraine did to Russian civilians in Donbas in 2014, and Russia warned them to stop. Maybe the Irish people know a hell of a lot more than the Irish government gives them credit for.

A lot of very angry people on the internet!! Éire Og lost the MUNSTER final to Ballygunner; and in reference to the “greatest club hurling team”, I meant in Munster. Should have made that clear.

Hard luck to @CLGEireOgInis today. Just met an absolute juggernaut; possibly the greatest club hurling team we have ever seen. No faulting the effort; just met a better team. Now go enjoy that historic double celebration at the social folks; it’s well earned!!

@whites_hand @DLynchSport I'd propose newtownshandrum, 3 wins n no losses in munster finals, at a time (03 to 09) when Cork senior n club hurling was v v strong (Blackrock n Erin's own played munster finals around then, some v classy hurlers on the team

If you want to know how insane the GAA under-the-counter market is, there's a coach/selector with a Division One county (not All Ireland champions) who will be on €93,000 for the season ahead.

Why are the All Stars still in November still when the All Ireland's were way back in July That was grand when the All Ireland's were in Sept Nobody cares because they have moved on I'm convinced the GAA & RTE just look back to what was done the previous year and copy it
