So before I deactivate my account and give up on politics I'm going to give you my reasons why I'm done, it's Restore men For my teenage years and through education I've resisted the indoctrination, I've defended right wing thinking when I'm constantly asked what is good about the right wing of politics, I've spoken up in uni about the nonsense of net zero. It's done me no favours. I come here to try to make the right more inclusive, to embrace different communities to build the vote share, but I've been shouted down I've tried to raise the daily issues women face but received abuse, threats and misogyny So when I'm back to uni on Monday, and I'm yet again asked if I am proud of right wing politics, no, I'm not proud, I'm not proud of Restore and I'm not proud that so many voices from Reform were equally silent as I struggled by alone. I'm not proud I wasted my time on X foolishly thinking it would matter I feel exhausted, drained trying to make the right more inclusive, because you actually need votes to get power back. The Greens are a huge threat. It's not just the polls, it's the activism in universities and our communities You don't have many Gen Z on the right of politics and specifically females So when you get a Gen Z that cares, one thelat can be bothered to speak up, one that's trying to open your minds to grow your vote share please be a little kinder Remember she's 19 and yes she's emotional, she's been left a really shit legacy from years of political and national mismanagement I hope for your sake and for the future of this country you'll support her next time, she just wants to positively influence a little inclusivity so you had more votes Ultimately it's up to you Like I've been told, I'm just a silly little girl, what does it matter what I say Good luck 🩵
