If Breath of the Wild had just been its own thing instead of getting milked for the next ten years, then it would have had an immaculate reputation amongst most Zelda fans. It's amazing how much just one bad sequel can tarnish a game's whole legacy.

@KeezTheFlex Better than eso for sure but idk if I'd call it an actual final fantasy experience because it is different especially once you factor it is an mmo. It's also hard to get into at this point. Around 300 hour commitment prob to catch up.

FF16 was such a bait-and-switch. We all thought it was returning to classic FF roots with the more pure-medieval setting, until the game came out and it turned out to be a cynical attempt to cash in on Game of Thrones' popularity, but had come out long after GoT had shot itself in the foot and people had started to hate it. Still not the worst bait-and-switch the franchise ever pulled. That was FF7 Remake.

@Taiya_785 @KeezTheFlex This is honeslty another reason why people have gripes with square. Xv was a rushed job. Kh3 had critical story pieces gatekept by dlc etc. We've seen so much of this. So people def think the remakes are made into three separate parts to be a cash grab. Sqaure Soft woulda never.

@KeezTheFlex Listen, 15 was unfinished and pretty bad on release. Now granted I havent played the royal edition so Im maybe a bit baised, but that was the biggest gaming disappointment of my life lol, but I love every other FF title to varying degrees 🤷♀️

@KeezTheFlex I don't hate any of them. I didn't like 13 and 16 was a miserable experience but I'm glad people enjoyed them.
Personally FF8 is my favourite and its always got a lot of hate.

Idc if people say they like 16 etc but saying remakes are the best gets me. kinda like if someone says the enders game movie is great ima send them to a book.

Its agenda pushing mainly. People just hate the game but either never played it or played it when it came out and never touched it since. Anyone who defends KH3 just gets swarmed with KH2 defenders all over the place. Add on nostalgia and its a never ending battle..

@SpaceVX1 keyblades were cool 100% I liked the forms better. Attractions trivialized most of the game. Kh2 the triangle interactions were better balanced and didn't show up every 5 seconds. Also enemies felt more like enemies in kh2. Kh3 felt like fighting mobs until gauntlet at end.

@hearthywatcher It was definitely a game that was a bit rushed, and cooking could have been better. But I'd have to say I liked the worlds and the gameplay more than KH2. I kinda became less of a fan of the drive forms and more a fan of the keyblade mastering. But it depends on playstyle mostly.
