@KeezTheFlex Listen, 15 was unfinished and pretty bad on release. Now granted I havent played the royal edition so Im maybe a bit baised, but that was the biggest gaming disappointment of my life lol, but I love every other FF title to varying degrees 🤷‍♀️

Some Final Fantasy fans are miserable These purists hate ANYTHING new They hate FF12,13,15 and 16 They hate the pixel remasters They hate the FF7 remakes What games do they like again?

@Caitlanmahlav I wanted to love 15 SO badly, Ive enjoyed every other FF game, but it was so rushed, development hell killed it, and then when it finally came out it it seemed unfinished with a completely unsatisfying "ending." I ended up hating it, but I love what it could/should have been.

Final Fantasy XV will be more loved if they did not release a half game. Cool premise and a striking ending fall flat because there's no arcs and plots in between. If they push through on dlcs maybe we can have a complete game but alas Square gave up too early 🥲

@AerithClouds Big agree, love Squall and Rinoa, and 8 in general!

Final Fantasy VIII is one of the best games, and the romance between Squall and Rinoa is the best canon relationship.

Played it. Not very impressed. The absolute last thing I want in a game thats trying to be a single player MMO, is soulslike combat with a stamina meter. Would highly recommend these instead.

@TheHeroOfSeinen FF8 fanbase are pretty chill tho. Kind of wish mr. "best looking guy" got the remake treatment instead--- and FF8 is my first FF.

@TheHeroOfSeinen 7's the worst, the loudest, and filled with rabid shippers. 13's are touchy and angry, but they get a lot of shit. We 6's are intellectuals (old arrogant snobs). 8's fanbase however is where you find good people. Not an 8 fan myself...

@TheHeroOfSeinen Nobody hates FF like a "FF fan" 😆 its one of my favorite game series but a lot of fans are the absolute worst.

@DashingDavidYT I like 7, but the rabid fans of 7 that hate and trash all the other games is exhausting, and the shippers are even worse. Despite liking it, I rarely engage with anyone about it because YIKES. Also 8 is my personal favorite and most 7 fans treat it like garbage so I get salty 😆

I think people that dislike FF7 just want to be contrarian. It doesn’t need to be your favorite. But to act like it’s across the board bad feels very disingenuous.
