@_WokeNonsenseFC A lot will depend on Villa v Forest Thursday. If Villa get to Europa final then city beat them last game of season as that final is the Wednesday before

@OhCheesesChrist @CaptainBennn @premierleague Champions league football will be secured for Villa and Forest will stay up. Both teams field weaker teams anyway when they play Liverpool and United that weekend if they are in the final.

@CaptainBennn @premierleague If it were us in a potential Europa League final on the following Weds, would you still be happy with playing the Sunday whilst maybe still trying to secure Champions League football?

I can absolutely see a scenario where the @premierleague and broadcasters announce the GW37 fixtures with an asterisk, subject to change depending on Villa and Forest's progress in the UEFA Europa League semi-finals. Leaving #MUFC v Forest on the Sunday, but subject to change to Friday if Forest progress to the Final, and the same for Villa v Liverpool. That would be a complete farce, especially after delaying the fixture announcement until after the FA Cup semi-finals under the justification of minimising disruption. The reality is they don’t think beyond the immediate broadcast schedule at this stage of the season, or more accurately, they simply don’t prioritise match-going supporters. The goal is clear: maximise viewership and protect commercial interests. Supporters are left to rearrange travel, accommodation, and personal commitments at short notice, all so the league and broadcasters can squeeze the highest possible audience out of every slot. We'll find out soon enough, as I don't think they'll wait until next week, but don't be surprised by any decision that they make.

That is possibly the biggest decision I've ever seen officials give on a football pitch. I can't tell if that's over the line. #rafc #YCFC

With Forest now facing Villa in the Europa League semi-finals, the ties taking place on the 30th of April and the 7th of May, I wouldn't be surprised if the Forest game were scheduled for Friday, the 15th of May. Villa are also due to play Liverpool that weekend, and could also move to Friday night. This is just speculation; please don't book anything after reading this post.
Cheeses Of Nazareth@OhCheesesChrist

I'd say there’s a high chance the Nottingham Forest home game will be on the Friday or Monday night, as #MUFC updated the game details on the website earlier this week to include both dates. They've never done that before, so I suspect they know something. All speculation, of course.

🚨💣 𝐄𝐗𝐂𝐋𝐔𝐒𝐈𝐕𝐄: There is growing frustration within Arsenal following their FA Cup exit to Southampton... They consider it unacceptable to be knocked out by a club from the EFL Championship. Arsenal believe it has shown a lot of patience with Mikel Arteta and still sees him as the right manager for the project, but now they want titles IMMEDIATELY. If Arsenal fail to win either the Premier League or the Champions League this season, it could potentially be Arteta’s last season at the club.
