There's a pile of money that's been compounding for over five hundred years. Since the Medicis were buying popes. Since the Fuggers were bankrolling emperors. Since Venice was financing empires and crusades. It's never stopped. Plagues, famines, or the fall of empires, it fed on all of them. It doesn't have a flag. Flags are for the cattle. It has addresses. Basel, the City of London, Manhattan, offshore islands you'll never visit. The same pile of money. Venice to Amsterdam to London to Wall Street. It doesn't rise and fall. It packs up and moves. New address, same ledger. It has names. Old ones you weren't taught, new ones you see on buildings. The pile's been compounding 500 years. You've been working 20. One dollar at 5% becomes tens of billions in that time. They didn't start with a dollar. A continuous inheritance. A five-century compound interest machine that eats nations and shits out flags. Spain had the gold. The pile had the debt. Spain went broke. The pile kept the gold. Britain had the empire. The pile had the City of London. The empire fell, colonies got flags and the pile kept the accounts. The top three tax havens on earth still fly a British flag. America has the military. The pile has the dollar. When the dollar goes down, the pile will keep whatever's worth keeping. It always does. Family fortunes that got so big they became the map. What's the "international community"? The countries the pile already owns, agreeing with each other. What's a "rogue state"? A country the pile doesn't own yet. What's "humanitarian intervention"? Hostile acquisition with good PR. What's a "rules-based order"? A system where the pile makes the rules, breaks them when convenient, and bombs you if you point it out. The managed countries are "free" and the ones that refused to be managed are "authoritarian". The difference between an ally and an enemy is whether you're on the ledger or in the way. Last week they bombed Caracas and kidnapped Maduro because he refused to hand over the deed to the pile. He was willing to sell them oil, but they don't want the oil, they want to own the oil. When you won't sign it over they call it dictatorship and send the sanctions. When the sanctions don't work, they send the bombs. A barrel of oil sells once. A reserve in the ground backs a financial asset forever. That's why Exxon's CEO just said the issue isn't Maduro. It's the laws that keep the oil in Venezuelan hands. The politician's job is to send the bombs. The media's job is to make you cheer.

Every war Israel has fought is a war of defense. In every war, they were attacked first.
