@NFLUKIRE @Vikings I see zero downsides and only possible upsides, be it a trade next season, replacing Darnold as backup, or becoming the starter over JJ if needed.

@_jason_777 He gets them because he was never the guy. He was a tweener who failed. That gives him a really relatable perspective.

JJ McCarthy said all the QBs at the combine wanted to end up with the Vikings. Caleb Williams praised KOC this week after they talked postgame. Daniel Jones chose the chance to learn from KOC over having a chance to start again this season. Kevin O’Connell is a QB’s dream coach.

@TsuDohNymh @tomcolicchio The best part of owning a Tesla was the charging network. Now that its become the North American Standard, every EV has an equal network and Tesal is just an option.

@tomcolicchio One of my friends had a Rivian for a couple of years before before he retired, sold it and bought a cheaper Tesla. He had the Tesla for a month before ordering another Rivian. There is absolutely nothing special about Tesla’s cars.

@VivekGRamaswamy @elonmusk @Tesla Nothing will compete with any product Elon dishes out because he’s uncompromised and not concerned about profit but creating the best product and luckily the best product he wants to dish out is respiration or America & Justice. This is an inherently GOOD MAN.

@cosmoksmom @tomcolicchio The Tesla ownership expeirnce consitantly drops because of staffing cuts, parts shortages, and their own internal IT system (often down).

@tomcolicchio I own a Tesla, clearly, @JohnMcCloy doesn't. I love mine, but just looking at how many features have been cut and removed from the Model 3 since 2020 is laughable.

@tfausnaugh @SkolBros I was thinking next year. Give him time with KOC. I still don't like it. But, it could make sense.

@BenInTucson @SkolBros Now, no. But after some time with KOC the QB whisperer, he would have some value. The NFL loves second, third and fourth chance QBs.

Upset special! #Gophers Minnesota's soccer team pulled off a big comeback to beat South Carolina 2-1 in an NCAA tournament second-round match Friday. The U was an underdog to a Gamecocks program that regularly makes national tourney appearances. Gophers advances to round of 16

MINNESOTA IS IN THE SWEET 16!!! @GopherSoccer beats South Carolina on the backs of goals from Bo and Ro and they’re in the round of 16 for just the third time in program history (2008, 2010).

🎥📝QUICK SCOUT ON SOUTH CAROLINA Minnesota has advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2018. Their next opponent: South Carolina. Let's take a quick look at how the matchup might go. South Carolina in 2024 - 11-3-7 (5-2-3) | RPI 14 - Tied Ohio State, Clemson, Georgetown, Tennessee - Beat Georgia, Kentucky, Auburn, Miss St - Barry 18G 8A, Collins 12G 3A, Tsaousis .787 SV PCT - Barry, Collins, Falla, Meadows All SEC honors - Shelly Smith, 300+ wins as SC Head Coach, 20+ seasons Matchup Stats: - Both low fouls, YCs - Both teams see swings in their possession (doesn’t always coincide with the result, either btw) but SC *really* swings. MN mostly lives mid 40s to mid 50s. SC had games in the mid 30s *and* mid 60s. Feels like the “feeling out” portion of this game will essentially be 90 whole minutes and the run of play might *really* swing throughout SC Goals Conceded: - Teams taking chances from distance (Romine, Boman, Kalal, Birdsell, Calhoun, Harper, etc may all want to be ready to fire when they get a window within 30 yards) - Some classic “diagonal ball from endline to pk spot” conceded early that nearly all teams surrender when that’s created (Harper has been able to unlock at that times) SC Goals Scored: - Barry makes it look effortless when she scores in run of play. Have to stay in front, be patient. She finds ways to shoot. - Don’t foul them in the box (duh, but the bulk of Barry’s goals were from the PK spot. So, again, don’t foul in the box) - A *ton* of clean up chances. Any failed clearance or misplayed ball they will pounce on it. Have to be focused in the defensive third and clear it the hell out. - 16/47 goals came from 3 landslide wins, 8/47 from the penalty spot. 9 games with only 0 or 1 goals scored (similar to MN, who had 8 such games) Predictions: - The entire game may be based on whether we are over/under 1 big defensive blunder for the backline. If Minnesota can be entirely stout defensively (no blunders, no early goal, air tight in eliminating easy chances and follow up chances) they can win this. - They were stout against Penn St until the final moment (and even that was a 50/50 foul call) and looked very sharp against SDSU last night. So I'm optimistic. - Gophers have to take chances from distance and test the SC keeper early. They probably need either a distance goal or a set piece goal. - Game smells kinda Romine-y to me. Maybe even Calhoun-y or Kalal-y. Just a gut feeling. Maybe even a Harper end line to a runner in the box-y. - Boman/others may need to all but body mark Barry as she enters the attacking half. Defensive positioning overall has to consistently be in front. Make the shots SC takes be absolute miracle (low odds) chances so Martin has a good chance to get to them - ***IF IF IF*** they were able to win, they could have the chance to play UNC and their pair of Minnesotans (Dahlien, Gagne). Which would be fun as hell.
