A managing member is not simply a donor; it is the organization responsible for helping oversee development, financing, acquisitions, partnerships, and project execution. Foundation reports also show that individuals associated with the Saleem family are listed among donors and trustees supporting the broader vision. The Atlanta Masjid Community Foundation has reported millions of dollars in pledges toward its various initiatives and capital projects. What makes Salaam Square unique is that it is not being presented as simply a mosque expansion. Publicly released plans describe a much broader mixed-use development that combines residential housing, commercial space, education, recreation, business development, and religious facilities into a single community hub.
