@British_Airways got my return ticket from the website yesterday but I need to buy an extra seat for a fragile device. I am calling the BA but the line keeps disconnecting. Carrying that fragile item is the sole reason for my trip. Could you please help me purchase it other way?

Dear @STN_Airport and @pegasusdestek , tried to purchase an extra seat to carry my La Marzocco Linea Micra on board. Too fragile to be checked in. Turkish Pegasus office say that they cannot guarantee boarding as local laws might vary. How to proceed please?

@pegasusdestek The only issue was probably with Stansted but we are stuck way before exploring that.

@pegasusdestek I see, it’s clear that your team is all over the place. The airport ticketing clerks with 10years of experience says that you have such service and that they can sell it, online team says there is not. Better to go with THY. Thanks anyway

@pegasusdestek It is still in line with the CBBG guidelines. I won’t be carrying it as on board luggage, planning to purchase an extra seat for it. Your team is giving me mixed answers. Airport team said yes, but said that they cannot guarantee Stansted. Please check your guidelines again

@HeathrowAirport boilers will be empty as much as it can as a consumer, but do I need to book an engineer?in terms of rigorous check- will you be opening up the machine? I mean screwdriver and such😂 carried a lot of Moccamasters and coffee grinders over the years and swab tests were the norm

@idil Hi there. You can generally take an espresso machine like yours in hand luggage at Heathrow, provided it fits within the airline's size/weight restrictions and passes security screening. It must be empty of water, and expect a rigorous security check for the electrical component
