I just started editing/rewriting Beastland (a post-apocalyptic murder-mystery with a cosmic twist—The Hateful Eight meets The Leftovers, with Akira Kurosawa and Stephen King influences), which I wrote shortly before Native Fear; I might be wasting my time. Only one person has ever read it (@jaqsattack), many, many years ago, and I’m applying all her notes—better-developed female characters… and more cussing. (And I need to figure out how to shoehorn Michael Richmond from Native Fear into the book, since his chapters make references to Beastland.)
