I live in a 3bhk flat with 6 friends but my roommate’s PC is literally at my feet. She never shuts it down, just puts it on sleep but it randomly turns on at night, full brightness, lights up the whole room. RGB keeps glowing like it never slept either i asked her to shut it down she said “it’s basically off” so… is that safe to do? like is it not going to ruin her pc eventually? honestly just want to know so i can either give her a reason for shutting it off (ive already asked her and she didn’t really care)

I'll tell you cheating was done in our on campus for a big company the paper got leaked before the exam to a topper, the topper shared with his 3-4 friends and shared the paper to the worst 5-6 people, these 10-12 people got the interview and the cutoff was 100% marks. legit people which solved 23/25 questions in got rejected. now in interview the bottom people couldn't even answer what a half subtractor is and the better people got the job

How I did 4 internships in 4 years of my college life at IIT Roorkee. A post Pretext - When I entered college, I was a kid who was very poor in communication skills, leadership skills, extempore and all similar soft skills. I talked to one senior and he said that do internships, grab each and every opportunity that you can be it small or big. Take part in college groups and get PORs to build resume as well. I was just fresh into college and listened every word of his. My first internship was after semester 1 - Well i was not planning to do it but sometime around convocation some college recent passout had come and he posted posters for an intern opportunity of like sales kinda thing. I called him, met him and did it for like 7 days and realised I am not made for door to door thing My second internship was after semester 2 - This was again a startup of college alumni, I applied via some post etc. Was work from home, involved lot of client handling and negotiation here My third internship after semester 4 - This was after 2nd year. All cool folks of college already had something sorted out somehow, people were getting selected in Gsoc, me and my friends also decided on doing something. I did a hard cold outreach on LinkedIn and got three intern offers wherein I finally joined one company in fintech domain My fourth internship after semester 6 - This was involved with bit of drama. I got my internship via college placements and internship cell itself. However the offer was rescinded a month before we were about to start internship and said that they will still give us PIO during placements. I was heartbroken, confused, but then again went through hard cold outreach on LinkedIn and got something decent as work from internship in product role. Net Net, I ended up doing 4 internships. Part of 3 main college groups with PORs like Additional Secretary, Convenor etc. Did some other case studies etc as well to have my pocket money scene sorted. My learning was very simple that senior gave - Don’t say no to opportunities when you have nothing to do. Grind And ensure that you only come to your hostel room for just sleeping purpose.
