June like the Month 🦆

I’m not crying, you’re crying 🥹💜 Here’s my reflective montage from my favorite moments (that I can publicly share) from the last 2 years of being part of the @SuperteamDE community. Not only have I grown immensely as a professional through being a part of this, but I’ve made lifelong friendships along the way. For me, “community” isn’t just a buzzword. It’s reality.

you can just do things. nobody told me a 12 week old could communicate when they need to go. but here we are. “elimination communication” sounds insane until you try it: the idea that babies have awareness around their bodily functions… i was less skeptical then i was unsure of the actual logistics. and it’s working! not perfectly. not every time. but enough that ape and i look at each other like “wait, are we actually doing this?” there’s something that shifts when you stop treating your baby like a passive little thing that just happens at you, and start treating them like little people who are already trying to tell you things. because they are and they can. we’re just over 12 weeks old now and we’re picking up on cues at home and in our first hotel. we utilize a little blue top hat toilet + the real big ones:
