Inspired by this my dev env is a Raspberry Pi 4GB running Claude Code + Tailscale. I talk to it from my phone, either SSH via Terminus or chat through Discord with the new Claude + Discord plugin (voice-to-text works great). Claude writes code, opens PRs with gh, CI kicks off preview deploys on DigitalOcean so I can review from my phone, and on merge it ships to prod.

"How would you debug a service that's healthy in K8s but timing out for users?" If someone jumps straight to "check the logs" without mentioning network policies, DNS, or service mesh, red flag 🚩 What's your debugging order?

Tricky K8s question I ask: "What happens when a pod gets OOMKilled but the container's memory limit is set correctly?" Most people freeze. The answer reveals if you actually troubleshoot production or just read docs.

Lately, Claude makes some shocking mistakes. ⟶ Implements overly complex code ⟶ Ignores the codebase's code style ⟶ Removes working code for no reason ⟶ Replaces code that's out of scope from the task at hand It feels like it needs 100% supervision. At this point, you're better off writing everything yourself.

Update on my Claude Code alias I put in ~/.bashrc to code fast on VPS: c() { IS_SANDBOX=1 claude --continue --dangerously-skip-permissions "$@"; --continue makes it continue the last session in case it logs out To add it: echo 'c() { IS_SANDBOX=1 claude --continue --dangerously-skip-permissions "$@"; }' >> ~/.bashrc && source ~/.bashrc This puts it in your ~/.bashrc which runs every time you login, then just type the letter c and you're in Claude Code after logging in!
