I meet a lot of young pastors serving in established toxic churches. The only way they see forward as a pastor is to start a church. Problem is they have been so wounded that they need a time to heal. How can they heal well before they plant? Working for this space to exist.

Today, I began thinking how great it would be to have a retreat center for survivors of church hurt/abuse. Don’t know if that was from the Lord or just me, but I do know it resonated with something deep in my soul.

For 30 years, Mr. Hinton was stripped of all his rights while he sat on Alabama's death row for a crime he didn't commit. This morning, he arrived at the polls and exercised his right to vote. #ElectionDay #Vote2022

Grateful for this man and the journey he led so many of us on. His words will continue to light a path within.
