The manner in which Tywin Lannister gazed at Joffrey following his display of disrespect is reminiscent of the way my mother would regard me during my childhood as a form of discipline. This was a significant aspect of my upbringing. Perhaps, if Cersei had adopted a more stringent approach with Joffrey, rather than being lenient, it might have instilled a greater sense of respect in him.
